Nigel Havers plays the broke but aristocratic suitor of Lady Rosamund. The Dowager forces him to confess he's broke & says if he is genuine about wanting Rosamund she must know the truth as she has her own fortune.

Posh shooting party, Sir Richard being a complete jealous mardy arse & Mathew getting increasingly angry with the way he (Sir R ) talks to Mary.

Lavinias Dad has died & Mathew is going to the funeral which angers Sir R even more.
