Blimey, Dan Stevens did something for me tonight, he kinda passed me by in character but in the interviews tonight ... phew!

Those blue eyes!

He's def got a twinkle in RL that is supressed under all that starch!

And his RL wife looks exactly like lavinia.

Watched tonights behind the scenes programme and loved it. Two things stood out for me, firstly the clear blueness of Dan Stevens' (cousin Matthew) eyes, and also how much more beautiful all the women looked in their Downton roles without the 21st century makeup.

Enjoyed Dan Stevens and his hair. He came across well, I thought.

spongefinger I agree about how lovely all the ladies look in their costumes, but I do think Mrs Padmore & Mrs Hughes looked much more young & lovely in their 21st C personas!

....and Michelle Dockery's accent the Essex twang seemed so out of place when we're used to her clipped vowels!

The "Grantham Gels" are on Jonathon Ross tonight!
