Completely agree. For me they was only one real contestant who stood and that's Misha. Although the american version is a bit cheesy and like fame there is so much talent and I have no idea who could win!!

I've been watching both but I really feel dirty by the end of the week after 4 whole nights of bloody XF so I'm going to have to make a choice. Totally agree that the US version has got so much more talent on it. I too only really like Misha on the UK show - the rest are very meh this year.

BTW why didn't they show the really amazing girl singer (the one who did that Beyonce song in her first audition) in the US bootcamp shows. I think she got through to judges' houses, but just wondered why she wasn't shown. I do hope they don't drop her before the live shows.

Piggychunk · 10/10/2011 14:51

I agree too, wont be watching the UK anymore they are soo bad , bluddy is right none of ours would get on the US one. The talent this year is very high

popadop · 10/10/2011 18:58

Th US version has so much more talent on.

They did not show a couple that went to the judges houses I think they keep them hidden away for effect........

I love jazzlyn little.......[check her out on utube]

popadop · 10/10/2011 18:59

link for jazzlyn

midnightexpress · 10/10/2011 19:02

I liked the big burrito man and the girl who is a motor mechanic who did the Jacksons song too.

popadop · 11/10/2011 10:33

Have get some names on thurs/friday and report back.

midnightexpress · 11/10/2011 10:45

Yes. Grin I really can't spend the next three months typing out 'the big man with the bad skin and the gorgeous voice who flips burritos for a living' and ' the woman who sang that Beyonce song in her first edition'. Life is short enough, what with all the bloody interminable XFactor shows, to spend the rest of it typing out who I mean.

popadop · 11/10/2011 10:57

ok .......... Melanie sang beyonce.

...................Josh is the big guy.

dont know the motor machanic.

and the little bratty girl that sang beyonce ''if i was a girl'' .....good voice but soooooo unlikable.

midnightexpress · 11/10/2011 11:14

Right, Tora is the one who sang the jacksons song and wants to be a motor mechanic (if it turns out she doesn't have the X-Factor).

And yy to the girl - what a stage school brat. Good voice though. I'm also not keen on the rugby coach, but I bet SC puts her through on cuteness.

I also must confess to having a great big crush on LA Reid. He is swoonsome.

I'm watching both, and yes, the American version has much more talent.
Mind you, it's such a huge country I'd be surprised if it didn't.
I'm liking seeing Simon again too.
Who is the other male judge - L.A something?
I've never heard of him before.

NotInTheMood · 11/10/2011 16:18

Im loving some of the oldies stacey Franics the one who looks like Diana Ross is amazing also love the rapper guy Rene something and the Burritto guy!

LadyEvilEyes, he's a record producer and exec and he's signed all sorts of people - Rihanna, Pink, Justin Beiber...

popadop · 11/10/2011 16:39

Oh also like DREW a young girl who sang a beiber song better than him.

CheerfulYank · 12/10/2011 01:14

I like the bratty little girl! :) Her name is Rachel and she's cute IMO.

Drew was also good, and I love Josh and Jazzlyn. Oh, and Leroy Bell who is almost 60 and looks like he's 35.

popadop · 12/10/2011 07:43

Leroy ooooooooooooooo yes he is good.

Smile Rachel is not cute!!!!! lol...................a bratty little yank oops [are you really a yank] Blush
LadyEvilEyes · 12/10/2011 10:21

Rachael is good but too young.
She needs to come back in a few years.
How is X Factor going down in the States Cheerful?
It's huge over here, is it popular over there too?

FearfulYank · 12/10/2011 18:24

Yup, Popa , I've lived in the American Midwest for my entire life for my entire life. :)

I don't think she's bratty, I think she's a goofy kid. Unless I missed something, which is entirely possible since I'm only watching bits on Youtube.

It is pretty big here! American Idol is still bigger but this is X Factor's first year, so...and we love us some Simon Cowell so that helps. :)

LadyEvilEyes · 14/10/2011 21:47

Fuck, the talent in X Factor USA is brilliant.

PureBloodMuggle · 14/10/2011 22:28

It it all pre-recorded in a studio or something like one of those make everyone sing well mics

Everyone is too pitch perfect it's weird

LadyEvilEyes · 14/10/2011 22:41

I have no idea Pure, but I don't think so, they just seem to be so much more talented than our UK version,

PureBloodMuggle · 14/10/2011 22:42

It's just seems too good,

I never watch this part of the USA one, and only seen snippets of the live shows, but do agree the talent certain is better

LadyEvilEyes · 14/10/2011 22:53

Just us then Grin
I enjoy X Factor UK, but I would struggle to find genuine talent.
This is way beyond our league.
