Pleased its back, it's one of my favourites....but I had forgotten that Peter has never exsisted. Or did he exist and is now no more ?

I hope Gene is still there....I could maybe cope without Peter but never without Gene.

Really excited to see how they will bring Peter back... because he has to come back
And to know what it is that Walter did if Peter never existed to make Walternate hate him... Or did he still steal him but young Peter drowned??

I thought that Olivia (or Astrid, can't remember) said that they would look in Gene's stall for Walter when he was hiding in the flotation tank.

And I remember one of the baldy guys saying they must never let them know the boy became a man so perhaps you are right about the drowning.

And I don't understand how Olivia didn't recognise Agent Lee, his alternate was on the Fringe team on the other side so surely she should recognise him?

Also, what about Bolivia's baby? If Peter never existed, then what about his son?

Olivia looked really pretty! Fauxlivia was a total bitch though. I take it we're meant to think that without Peter and the baby humanising her (as well as her stint on our side) she's just a slutty cow.
No problems there.

Do we know if Olivia has met Other-Lee? She might not which would explain why she didn't recognise him.

They all seem really sad and lonely without Peter. I wanted to give Walter a big hug. Loved it when he called the security guard 'Timmy' though- that was more like Walter Bishop.

Why change a habit of a lifetime?

I thought the alternative agent Broyles evaporated or something in the back of a van - how is he there again. The real Broyles wears suits and the other one had on a black tshirt and ear thingy in episode 2, but how is he there?

The baldy guys said in episode one that the timelines have been rewritten due to Peter's disappearance, or words to that effect.

so when peter disapeered, everyone forgot about him as he tech doesnt exist

so why did walter hear/remember him/his voice at the end of last weeks?

Right as I get it, Peter in 'our' side died of whatever disease it was he had.

Our Walter went over stole other Peter to bring him back and cure him, but the trip through the rift landed them in the lake, and Peter drowned. Walter survived but the guilt of (a) not finding the cure for his Peter in time and (b) letting the other Peter drown sent him to the hospital.

BUT this is not a real timeline; the baldies have just made them think this, so Peter does still exist somewhere?

The baldies appear to know what ?should? happen in the timeline but can?t change time, but can affect minds/memories, and baldie pulling Peter and Walter out of the lake affected the timeline.

Or am I totally confused????

Don't worry Blondes (tis I ,LG, with a fringe inspired name change), I don't think there are many answers to your questions yet. I am guessing that in this alternate timeline the observers have tried to create Peter did exist but died in both universes due to his childhood illness. I think that Walter still crossed over and brought back the alternate Peter, but this time Peter drowned on their return (the crossing point was in the middle of the frozen lake if I remember correctly?). Major events that we know about have still occurred but have changed slightly without Peter's influence, so Walter was released from the mental institution by Olivia but without the support of Peter he is less stable and won't leave the lab. THe observers are still trying to wipeout any signs of Peter's existence and keep there timeline stable but this obviously isn't working as they hoped, hence Walter hearing and seeing glimpses of Peter.

It is very frustrating not knowing what else has changed and what is the same. I too was surprised to see alternate Broyles back. Is Massive Dynamic still in existence? Is Walter still the owner of it? Anyway, at least Gene is still present in the new timeline even if we have to manage without Peter for a while.
