Now I'm confused... I thought when he came back it would reverse the time change... but it hasn't [hshock] they don't remember him but he knows them...interesting [hhmm]

I think it's good that they don't remember, otherwise it would have been a bit dull, this will create a new dynamic relationship wise. that he's back, I think the episodes have missed his sarcastic wit. Am really enjoying the series so far, thought the first episode was a bit slow and dull but last week's was great and now Peter's back it can only get better!

I had a horrible thought that bitch Olivia might remember Peter... I'm also wondering if Peter might have been in a parallel universe with yet another Olivia and Walter and he thinks he's back with them and doesn't actually know the Olivia he was talking to at the end of last episode... My head hurts!

Anyone still watching this?? Whilst I am quite liking the storyline I find that the show is really missing the whole Peter/Walter dynamic, it all seems a bit dry and heavy at the moment. Oh, and WTF is this about Nina raising Olivia and her sister???

I know! Talking about Olivia's sister, where was she when Olivia was being abused by her stepfather- was she not living there? She's never mentioned in Olivia's childhood episodes.
I felt so sorry for Peter when Walter walked out on him. But loved his hacking of the phone and his computer genius- I'd missed that!

The deja vu thing with Olivia and the files was odd. I wonder if it has to do with Peter coming back.

was about to ask for an explanation - as i always do lol

Basically 'our' Peter is back but in this new amber universe he died when Walter snatched him from the other side. As they were crossing Peter drowned in the lake so both Peter died as children. Except in the first 3 seasons an observer had intervened and got Peter out of the water. That was corrected at the end of last season.
Yet he's back. So was he stuck in the other universe and does that mean there are now three versions of all those characters?
Also who were the shapeshifters typing with? It used to be Walternate and his minions but they're now all on the same side right?

Funny that when you try to explain Fringe you get more questions...

I don't think he's 'been' anywhere, he can remember the original timeline, finding the machine etc, the observers have tried to 'erase' him but something has gone wrong and he has reappeared with full memory of everything that happened, but the others can only remember the new 'erased' timeline that has been created. Are we clear?

No idea who the shapeshifter is communicating with at all. Am wondering when we will see an alternate Nina though.

I have no idea . I think they have tried to erase the time line where Peter survived and create a brand new reality but something has gone wrong and Peter has reappeared. Either way, I think baby Henry has conveniently disappeared and no longer exists. As the old time line has been erased though this means potentially that old villains such as David Robert Jones could reappear maybe, or it could be the alternate DRJ who the new shapeshifters are contacting (different typewriter, no mirror) and then 'enemy' could be the ZFT organisation again. I will be disappointed if they have just created a third universe, mainly because I would just find it far too confusing
