Very true, but Harry has been such a calming presence from the outset that I'd be devastated if he was extradited/bumped off/otherwise prevented from retiring to the seaside with Ruth.

I thought the whole thing was a bit weak. Why would they not have CCTV of Harry chasing after the van and trying to save the american guy. Surely the govt wouldn't turn Harry over so easily. Ho hum.

That's a kind invitation, but no. I do admire Sir Harry very much - he is a thoroughly splendid chap - but I feel the chairing of the Appreciation Society should be left to someone who admires him rather more, ahem, ardently than I do.
