If these played at my wedding I'd be most displeased

Thingumy · 14/05/2011 22:20

WhereYouLeftIt · 14/05/2011 22:20

Anybody else remember Katie Boyle as the UK presenter?

braveandcrazy · 14/05/2011 22:21

While this rubbish is on can anyone tell me and DH the name of the 2nd song Jonny Logan won with? First being what's another year of course...

Hassled · 14/05/2011 22:21

Dana International! Oh I've come over all nostalgic. She should have made it through.

SecretNutellaFix · 14/05/2011 22:21

One thing is for sure, this interval act is no Riverdance.

They were robbed I tell ya - any other year they would have romped home but they had the mighty lordi to beat..

Hassled · 14/05/2011 22:21

Brotherhood of Man must have been 75 or 76.

PricklyThistle · 14/05/2011 22:21

I think Graham's great - Terry was getting too bitter by the end, and showed a distinct lack of understanding of European history.

NormanTebbit · 14/05/2011 22:21

This is dull, dull , dull

Favourite Eurovision song: Puppet on a String

duckdodgers · 14/05/2011 22:22

Probably Bucks Fizz, but I remember Nena and her 99 red balloons to.

letthembe · 14/05/2011 22:22

Oh another memory is the a Norway (?) win, 1983, just because we sand a translated version in the school choir - bizarre. bring on the voting this is pants

80 was Brotherhood of Man (I think or maybe 79) Bucks fizz was 81 and Bardo 82.

"One step further and I would have been there
You could have turned around and kissed me and I wouldn't have cared
All this time I didn't get anywhere"

and so on.

Obvious why it bombed, but my sister and I "performed it" in our bedroom to perfection.

Rosenotinyorkshire · 14/05/2011 22:23

@babyheave. ONE STEP FURTHER. Class UK entry. Cant remember the name of the group but i remember performing the bizarre sitting down dance routine in primary school for weeks on end.

braveandcrazy · 14/05/2011 22:23

Was 82 one step further and I could've been there? You could have turned around and hit me and I wouldn't have cared?

That one?

kaumana · 14/05/2011 22:23

Hold me now - jonny Logan
