It was dd's first Eurovision, she made me ring up for Spain. Cannot believe dire Italian dirge came second. Their take on Eurovision was v funny and says a lot about their way of doing politics, getting jobs and everything else....they thought it was perfectly OK to vote for your mates "oh, it's Spain, hurrah, that'll be 12 for us, yes, hurrah!"

I thought Blue were very slick and it was the UK's best since Katrina and the Waves.

I missed the young whippersnappers standing bellowing ballads with their legs apart though.
