I remember the first Johnny Logan win.

i vividly remember 1981 when Bucks Fizz won- my mum was painting the walls a strange orangey -brown colour....

I am so old - I can remember Abba on Eurovision.

Hassled - Dana International is who you mean and was in the semi final this year. With a song called Ding Ding. Can't imagine why it didn't make it to tonight.

I'm old enough to remember Brotherhood of Man, Bucks Fizz, and all the once since.

But I love the cheesiness and predictable political voting. I'm sad, aren't I!

I can still sing all the words to the 82 entry which, sadly, bombed.

My favourite was lithunia I think in the year that Lordi won - there song went something like 'we are the winners of eurovision so vote for us'

Johnny Logan! "What's another year?" That's what the RTE bods asked each other as they prepared to host Eurovision for the 10th consecutive time. No wonder Ireland have run out of cash.
