RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/05/2011 07:58

Just seen this pic well I did chose well, didn't I??!!

What a shame for you Blondes Grin let's hope Daris gets a grip again.
Was daniel orange last night?

notyummy · 18/05/2011 08:09

Can't believe that Darius has put a whole load of weight on - he had got so physically fit! I assume he must be bingeing. A real shame. Mikey is looking good though - although if I am honest I always found him a bit annoying.

Jillian was well scary in this episode. Go Jillian....give 'em hell.

I am doing her DVD tomorrow and she can give ME hell then!

blossoming · 18/05/2011 08:10

Darius looks bigger than Michael in that photo!
I think Michael got lots of publicity which woul help him keep it off.
Have you noticed how all the male finalists look the same on the night? Identikit hairstyles, fake tan...
I'm with Rudy series 8.

RatherBeWearingASluttyBra · 18/05/2011 08:20

I won't hve a bad word said about my Mikey!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/05/2011 08:25

Just realised I posted in my special running name!
SluttySlutSlutOfTheSkies is designing a whole new running lingerie collection Hmm Confused so we have special names to promote it!
It does possibly look random out of context!!

notyummy · 18/05/2011 08:32

It was just all the crying.... although I suppose he had his reasons. I also think he has a slightly 'joker-esque'grin.

He doesn't have as many reasons to cry as that green lady in the programme last night mind you. That is just awful. She deserves as much help as possible to rebuild her life.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2011 14:02

was green lady the one who lost her family :(

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/05/2011 17:49

I'm just not sure that the green lady should be taking part. I think if I'd been in the process of choosing contestants, i would have thought it inappropriate. Did she say the car accident had happened within the last year?

I don't like to think of her being used for sensationalistic ( is that a word ?) telly. It doesn't seem fair on her.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2011 17:52

might give her an aim in life - i keep saying it - life goes on and maybe this will help her

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/05/2011 17:57

Very true, she will be forced to think about herself, and to exist within a group of (hopefully) supportive people, and receive plenty of pep talks from Jillian and Bob.

She just seems ever so vulnerable to me.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/05/2011 17:09

it will be the making of her - give her some self confidence as well

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 20/05/2011 19:10

I think Jillian and Bob will really boost and motivate the green lady and they do seem to know the right things to say to inspire I always think. I wish I could have a few sessions with one of them, I'd feel a whole lot better about myself I think. I don't know which I'd choose for the pep talk

Jillian or Bob if you had to chose one?
I will think on, but possible initially I'm leaning towards Jillian..
Or maybe Bob...

RatherBeOnThePiste · 21/05/2011 19:33

I was thinking just now that I would really like to try that BL activity where they put the weight they have lost in a bag, then you see what it feels like to carry it again. I can't imagine what 3 (nearly) stone looks like even, but I'd love to know what it feels like. Am I making any sense?! Lol. Maybe I'm just rambling Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/05/2011 18:07

kwyw piste

when i lost 4 stone before on ww, i then carried my dc on my back and she was just under 4 stone and i was puffed out running up stairs/walking etc

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/05/2011 19:41

How old was that child when nearly 4 stone? I might experiment at school!

smokinaces · 22/05/2011 19:51

Piste, DS2 is 2st 10 (he's 3), DS1 is 3st 5 (he's 4) - you are welcome to pick up either of them at any time to see how heavy it feels Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/05/2011 19:56

Lol Smoky! So I need a regular 4 year old to feel roughly what I I have lost then? They might be a bit Hmm as I carry them round for the day!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 00:28

dc was 5 :)

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 16:09

Well I tried this today - bloomin heck, they felt so heavy!

I couldn't really justify putting a child in a backpack ( like they put the weight lost in a back pack in the Biggest Loser) and carry it for the day, cos they were already a bit Hmm and Confused when i said I needed to pick them up Grin

But it felt like a lot of weight to be sure!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 17:30

who did you lift/carry?

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 17:34

how old/heavy was child?

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/05/2011 17:40

I tried two 4 year old girls called Lottie and Carys ( best friends) and a 5 year old called Raph, the girls were heavier than him, but I have no idea how heavy any of them actually were IYSWIM.

I think my project/experiment is doomed Sad

But they did feel substantially heavy, just don't know if they were 3 stone Hmm

But if I've lost as much as they felt, then that is a lot of weight, does that make sense? Confused
It was quite funny tho!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2011 17:41

sure they were at least 3 stone unless very skinny
