Bring your notebooks, your whiteboards, your clipboards, your pens, your tape measures and your waterways maps to solve the problem of what happened to Nanna Birk Larsen.

knitter am liking the sins theory! wow they did HAVE to use the word biblical in that interview, didn't they? as if the incident boards aren't crammed enough...

mdorph good to hear there are even more treats to come Smile

Fivecentsplease · 15/03/2011 10:20

To conclude ! My new theory is Troels is the killer, ultimately, but the attack in the flat was Morten, as he went there first to look for Troels, and chanced upon Nana. Removal men are a red herring to keep us gulls squawking for the next 2 episodes. The Theis/Pernille story line is there to show the human consequence of the crimes, and show that everyone has shades of evil.....

Hows about that?

teej · 15/03/2011 10:23

fivecents heresay! the lovely troels is innocent!!!

Blackduck · 15/03/2011 10:23

I'd buy it - I said on the last thread that I wondered if we were letting Troels off too easily and that the only alibi he had was Morten who could be in on it too....but everyone ignored me as they had their rose (troels)coloured specs on!!

teej, I know you would skip off for a walk in the woods with troels at the drop of a hat - but if you do, don't forget your nail-clippers!

comfort yourself with this www.sofeminine.co.uk/star/pictures-111523-mads-mikkelsen.html

five the whole political stream could be being used to emphasise that when people become involved in a murder investigation it can ruin their lives. and a high flying politician has so much more to lose.
(although still like the biblical theme, that the politicians need to be cleansed of their various sins)

to take a rl example, look at that landlord in bath earlier this year. he was questioned and now feels the stigma will never leave him. imagine if he had still been a teacher? would he have been able to work again?

Fivecentsplease · 15/03/2011 10:28

My board has bengt with darts in now! Sorry! Can't forgive sneaky-behindy-backy- man stuff!

teej · 15/03/2011 10:29

five Shock at the nail clippers!
if i were to go for a walk in the woods with himself i'd be packing a bottle of bubbly and comfy rug Wink

teej · 15/03/2011 10:31

five but do you not think he was persuaded that sarah was going a bit loopy with this investigation, pushing everyone away, and he was trying to resolve it so he could bring her back into her family unit?

teej · 15/03/2011 10:32

ROFL at stretched tony parsons...

Fivecentsplease · 15/03/2011 10:32

I would have arrested him, mind you, for offences against hair and having a funny walk, which probably isn't so far off why the police collared him!

Oooh Ooh - perhaps Troels set up Olav, to use Holck, having identified him as weak? Where was Troels when olav was squished?

teej · 15/03/2011 10:34

five troels was still in custody - they didn't release him till holck was dead iirc?

Fivecentsplease · 15/03/2011 10:37

teej nej! I don't - it looked like spite to me - he says `you weren't talking to me so I gave it to Brix' . Pah! Sorry!

Fivecentsplease · 15/03/2011 10:38

Hmm

teej · 15/03/2011 10:39

i came to the conclusion a few eps ago that we were being led a merry dance with the politicians, a la agatha christie. i don't mind that as it has been so enjoyable going along for the ride.
but it irks me that if lots of people had been more honest the bodycount would have been a lot lower.

  1. nanna and amir being honest about their relationship - they would not have planned to run away and therefore nanna would not have been vulnerable to the killer
  2. troels being honest about his movements that weekend - the spotlight may have fallen more quickly on holck and perhaps he could have been arrested properly rather than killed by Meyer
  3. holck being honest about his relationship with nanna, and then he may not have felt the need to kill olav....
Fivecentsplease · 15/03/2011 10:42

Yes, not to mention Bremmer knowing that Holck was using the flat, Rie blocking the police investigations, Theis/Pernille not telling the police all they know.

Its a bit frustrating! Arrest them all for obstructing the investigation, I say!

teej · 15/03/2011 10:43

five why sorry? i'm viewing bengt with rose-tinted specs and coming up with nice motivations Grin
also - she had been trying to call him/speak with him, not ignoring him. it was him who had been keeping his distance until he turns up for his lecturing sessions

i'm guessing brix got in touch with him (would be easy as he has advised the police previously) and said something along the lines of "oh i can completely appreciate you are pissed with lund. you know, we know what happened in this case, but she is so obsessed she just won't let go. look at the casefiles and compare it with our watertight case against holck, see? you need to persuade her to drop this for her own good...."

teej · 15/03/2011 10:44

cheers five for her stand against wasting police time

Fivecentsplease · 15/03/2011 10:48

Hmm. Well, Bengt is a funny one, it's like the case is a hobby to him, and he doesn't seem to give enough of his knowledge to Sarah - so he saw the photo with the necklace and didn't draw anyones attention to it? Or have I got that wrong Confused

teej · 15/03/2011 10:54

i think he saw the necklace but was persuaded that it didn't mean anything by brix, who just wants this thing wrapped up!

OhBuggerandArse · 15/03/2011 10:57

I think Bengt is dodgy. Either has been all along (Lund instinct contributing to her ambivalence about moving in with him), or has been nobbled. Because whoever is obstructing the investigation knows that Lund's the one to watch out for, so it'd be relatively easy to work out that Bengt would be someone to try and turn.

OhBuggerandArse · 15/03/2011 10:58

Also I distrust his hair cut. Not as untrustworthy looking as her ex's haircut, but suspicious none the less.

teej · 15/03/2011 11:04

Grin at untrustworthy haircuts

here's another thought that occured to me this morning - necklaces. very few characters wear necklaces. wierd therefore that a necklace is a major clue Wink
