being honest - yh worth a watch

I thought it was pretty rubbish.

i watched it by accident. i think i will watch next week. started off sneering than then was gripped. she needs a better shade of peroxide blonde though, that colour is fairly unforgiving

Was she brilliant yet flawed by any chance?

enjoyed it apart from ridiculous scene with her new pupil getting his wig and gown-absolutely ludicrous!

she has alot of white shirts and no pals

and a flat without proper lighting and an obligatory packet of fags...

She has a beautiful home, snaps open a beer when she gets home, and has to shake herself awake a lot when reading briefs until midnight. Liked it though

there can only be so many times you reinvent the courtroom drama surely?

I liked it but then I wanted to be a barrister and love all legal dramas.

It reminded me of a prog that was on ages ago called North Square. Rupert PJ was in that too along with the lovely Kevin McKidd with Helen McCrory playing the female part.

I loved Maxine Peake with the hair and lips. Very Gwen Stefani I thought.

The lips don't suit her - too harsh for her pale skin and hair.

The bit where the pupil nicked his wig and gown was utterly stupid though.

North Square is the only legal drama in recent years I've been able to stomach (hence not watching Silk). It was brilliant.

North Sq and Silk written by the same person
