I do think all labours are so different and sone people are in more pain than others

This lady with OH in prison doesn't look like she's got to 8cm she hasn't even broken a sweat

Yes, was thinking this is not a good advertisement for hypnobirth. My friends said it was amazing! However, they were a bit less controlling about the whole thing, and flexible to possibility of pain relief etc., just didn't require it.

her mother wasn't supporting her well. Guess they didn't do mongan method where birth companion learns what to do... and waving G&A in her face not on the list.

I have a horrid feeling this borth is going to be like my first. That interview at the beginning she gave was the same as mine at the NCT fist meet up. Blush

She wants pain relief, give her pain relief. Don't make her go through it without pain relief just because of some romantic idea she had before she knew what it would be like.

no one knows the pain of labour. I never DREAMED it would be HALF or a QUARTER as bad as it was...

if she wants drugs let her have them

They should be listening to her! FFS, she knows her limits. I've had one delivery where I was begging for an epi, another where I didn't need anything. No-one should be telling her what she wants.

i can't believe how her mum is behaving, poor woman is panicking. She deserves all the drugs she can get!!!
