My new favourite programme? Anyone else into it?

I love it, but am recording tonight's episode as DH is watching something else.

What else has the main American actress been in?

Do I need to watch it? I have it on plussed.

This is very funny, gets better every week. I think it's got to be my new favourite programme.

First one was a bit slow, but second one was good, especially het profane outburst at the end

dh and I love this. Matt LeBlanc is a revelation in it. Loved the last scene last night "My eyes are up here, it's all about respect"

Liking the show alot but not loving it.
Its lacking something, but will hopefully warm up soon.
All the actors are fab tho especially Tamsin Greig.

Tamsin Greig is fab - she is sooo unbelievably striking . Enjoying this too but not hilarious - just pleasantly funny.

Wincy, yes that's the one. There's nothing that jumps out that I'd recognise her from, but she's sooo familiar!!

I'm loving this, was a bit disappointed with the first one, but it's just getting better every week!

I gave up after the first episode. Just not funny though I love all the actors individually. Script just not up to it.

Still not taken with it. I love Greig and Mangan - IMO they can do no wrong. So I'll stick with it a while longer. But it still feels very hit and miss, with more misses than hits.

The first show was a bit slow tbh just not enough happened to get you teeth into it. Second episode much better but again maybe not quite enough happening in each episode to move it on.

I have only watched ep 1, got the other 2 downloaded for train tomorrow. I really don't like Tamsin Greig's character, she's a bit spoilt. Will see how it goes when Matt comes into it!

I think given the quality of the cast it isn't as funny as it thinks it is. Still really trying to find it funny, but disappointed so far.

I didn't think it was slow. It was clunky and cheesy and wooden. Greig and Mangan were fucking awful. Considering the amount of material out there when it comes to talking about converting UK shows for the US audience, it could have been so much better.

It was just full of awful stereotypes. I was really looking forward to it. I got about 3 minutes into episode 1 when I realised it was crap.

Definitely clunky. Like:

Person 1 speaks. Pause. Person 2 speaks. Pause. And actually, you're right Pfft, Greig & Mangan aren't as good as usual in this. Though I loved 'Emily' (the Lady from Green Wing) in ep 1.

Very disappointing, and after all that hype.

Agree with people saying the 1st episode was crap but 2nd and 3rd were much better. I'm particularly liking Matt leBlanc's role. I think he's actually quite brave doing it if it's airing in the US as well.

Also enjoying the 'head of Comedy' woman and the blind wife was also rather funny, I'm rather to say.
