Did anyone see this last night?

The trainer said they are in the gym 4 times a day "no room for slackers." It must be a short session with plenty of recovery time!

OP posts:
vnmum · 27/01/2011 18:33

vnmum waves to blondes.

I have been watching both of these programmes. i also usually watch the aussie version but don't know when that will be on now sky real lives doesn't exist.

I much prefer the usa and aussie ones. The uk one is like it's done on a budget and bob and jillian and michelle and shannon(aus) are so much better than the british trainers. Bob's a bit of eye candy too.

Jillian was on form with the red team wasn't she? she would not beleive the red woman. to be honest i think she was throwing the weigh ins and they are deffo a bit suspect in their motives

FelicityParpworth · 27/01/2011 19:49

LOL! Vnmum - whatever made you say the British one is a bit on a budget....

USA this week: purpose built massive rig on docks, all colour coded with individual team platforms for them to hoist up, every safety precaution possible

UK last week - people hanging on old ropes over public swimming pool

Grin It does make dh and I laugh.

I am watching the UK one and US.
I am bored of the red team in the USA and their 'integrity' - lying little buggers but they did well with assigning those penalties (I wish bloody Migsy had gone though, we hate her)

UK - I want the green bloke who isn't Paddy (lovely but dodgy teeth) to win. He seems so sweet. Rob's a bit up his own arse. I like the vast yellow lady too. She had terrible hair but she works sooooo hard, it's very impressive.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/01/2011 21:09

'waves to vnmum'

There is an Aussie tbl as well? :)

Pmsl at budget - can't think why you thought that

I either way grey man or yellow girl Claire in uk to win

Not sure who in USA / the son with manic curly hair or the father in other team

Hairyjumper · 28/01/2011 01:05

also , re UK budget. One of the challenges was running up and down the steps of the building Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/01/2011 08:05

Blondes - I agree with you - grey man Rob? Yellow lady Claire and I add in the green team - Wil and Paddy, just coz they keep weeping and I want to 'mother' them!!

In a way, I prefer the running up the steps to the freak show type carnival challenge of those rigging things in the USA. But then, I am a simple soul.

Piste perks up at the though of an Aussie one as well. Although DH will despair as its not his sort of thing. He likes programmes on BBC4

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/01/2011 08:57

where can i find the aussie one?

and dont tell mr blondes, he will flip having to watch fat club tv 3 times a week

vnmum · 28/01/2011 10:27

the aussie one used to be on sky real lives, i think they did 3 seasons. first season was bob and jill then 2nd season they introduced the aussie trainers michelle and shannon, third series was meant to be just michelle and shannon but bob and jill made an appearence. They also have an off site trainer called the commando(nice bod). There is a website that has the latest series episodes on but haven't watched them yet coz internets a bit slow to download biggest loser oz

Michelle bridges from the oz one is also one of the trainers who did the workouts on your shape fitness evolved for the kinect (DH also thinks shes fit aswell as jill)

vnmum · 28/01/2011 10:31

aaaargh, just been on the website and the videos aren't working. looks good this year too as it looks like a new female trainer and different style to the show. gutted. will have to search the net for more or hope its on virgin on demand when we get virgin tv soon

vnmum · 28/01/2011 10:37

ok ok, just found that the biggest loser oz episodes can be found on you tube, looks like for all seasons. definately worth a watch as some of the contestants are great. can you tell i watch these religiously. does that make me sad? lol

vnmum · 28/01/2011 10:41

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2011 21:26

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 31/01/2011 21:34

Getting lonely Blondes??

Ummm who will win? Don't know, but then we don't know how long they'll stay in their colour groups for before they get swapped around....

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 31/01/2011 21:35

Would you have eaten or not?

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2011 21:43

Yah chippin I was lonely

I wouldn't have eaten

FoundWanting · 31/01/2011 21:44

I wish they would give a bit more information about what these people are eating.

How can they do so much exercise and lose nothing?

tibni · 31/01/2011 21:46

Low weightloss this week.

Can't call the result tonight.
