I nominate :

KurriKurri · 30/12/2010 17:11

I really enjoyed

Sherlock
The Accused

and in documentaries The Solar System - Brian Cox

I also enjoyed DA and GL

aristomache · 30/12/2010 17:15

DEXTER!!!

PuppyMonkey · 30/12/2010 17:15

Another vote for DA and Sherlock. Honorary mention for Lost as I'm a diehard fan. Loved The Appeentice this year. And the Corrie tram crash was ace.

MrsColumbo · 30/12/2010 17:21

Boo, you're the only person outside my family who watched this is englsnd 86 - it was ruddy marvellous! Apparently there's going to be another series set in 1990.

Mad Men
Breaking Bad
Ashes to Ashes
Sherlock
And of course, the repeats of Columbo on ITV3 at the mo!

strandednomore · 30/12/2010 17:23

The last episode of Ashes to Ashes/Life on Mars.

ILoveItWhenYouCallMeBoo · 30/12/2010 17:25

oooh,

i hope it's this year MrsColumbo, well i mean 2011.

MrsColumbo · 30/12/2010 17:28

Late next year, Boo, my sources tell me! Do you think Combo will be out by then?

ILoveItWhenYouCallMeBoo · 30/12/2010 17:31

ooh, he could be, for good behaviour. he did promise no trouble when he went in didn't he?

FattyArbuckel · 30/12/2010 17:36

Merlin and Doctor Who

Lotster · 30/12/2010 17:42

Loved Doctor Who.

For originality and dark humour I would have to say Misfits.

Bloody brilliant.

Bomper · 30/12/2010 18:19

Really enjoyed Sherlock (any idea when it is back?), Doctor Who, the new series of Supernatural, the new series of Chuck and The Walking Dead.

Bomper · 30/12/2010 18:19

Oooh and Merlin!!

ShowOfHands · 30/12/2010 18:21

Dr Who
Merlin
Downton Abbey

Bomper, still haven't seen the new series of Supernatural. Please tell me Castiel takes off his clothes and performs a pirhouette?

Bomper · 30/12/2010 18:23

Mmmmmmmmm, Castiel !!! Sadly, he is only naked in my dreams Wink

bacon · 30/12/2010 18:24

The best original programme was An Idoit Abroad on Sky 1 - it was the only series that had me wetting myself all year.

Loved Merlin too.

Thorne:sleepyhead etc had me a nervous wreck, very clever.

Far too much samey, boring unoriginal stuff.

BelleDameSansMerci · 30/12/2010 18:27

Ashes to Ashes
Spooks

That's it... Sadly!

ShowOfHands · 30/12/2010 18:27

*pirouette even. I can spell. It was the naked holy tax accountant that confused me for a moment. Some days I think just losing the trenchcoat and rolling up his sleeves would do. As long as Dean was naked in the corner obviously.

I do watch it for the storylines. Honest.

Is the new series brilliant? I haven't seen 5 or 6 yet. Damn fecking ITV2 losing it to Living or 'Channel I Don't Get'.

southeastastra · 30/12/2010 18:33

Ashes to Ashes
Downton Abbey
Apprentice ( sorry but I liked it!)
Spooks
QI
Was Cranford this year?!
Silent Witness

JulesJules · 30/12/2010 18:47

Sherlock (but episode 2 - not so much)
Walking Dead
True Blood
Wonders of the Solar System

Didn't catch Downton Abbey, am going to borrow the dvd from my Mum

BooToYouToo · 30/12/2010 19:06

How about One Born Every Minute, esp. the episode with Joy. However didn't like the live Xmas version, the genius must be in the editing.

Agree with Sherlock, and QI
