Ah, I forgot Being Human - brilliant. Also, one very good reason for watching it Grin

Raahh · 31/12/2010 18:55

Sherlock. Brilliant, well made, under played, not overly hyped. Fabulous.

also loved Miranda, and the It Crowd.

QI is always one of my favourite programmes- endless repeats on 'Dave' at the dead of night got me through the worst of my pregnancy-induced insomnia!

Really enjoyed 'The Apprentice' this year- and Dara O'Brian on 'you're fire'- sheer class.

Raahh · 31/12/2010 18:56

'you're fireD'

LunarSeasonsGreetings · 31/12/2010 18:57

Garrow's Law, and Sherlock.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 31/12/2010 19:00

Fringe. Without a doubt the best thing that I have seen this year.

Also good:
The Good Wife
Sherlock
Whites
Rev

There were a lot this year that didn't match up to last year, mainly Glee and True Blood, I thought this years seasons were pretty shoddy. Boardwalk Empire and Walking Dead were underwhelming.

SpringHeeledJack · 31/12/2010 19:00

The Trip

I bloody loved it, I did

and the Apprentice

Blush
PfftTheMagicDragon · 31/12/2010 19:01

Oh God and Mad Men. Excellent this year.

Raahh · 31/12/2010 19:02

'Mad men' is in a class of it's own, really.

wintera · 31/12/2010 19:15

"There were a lot this year that didn't match up to last year, mainly Glee . . . "

I thought the first season of Glee only aired around the beginning of 2010 in the UK though?

PfftTheMagicDragon · 31/12/2010 19:31

Yes, wintera, - didn't realise that! Have been watching on US schedule so have been watching season 2 (soon to start here).

Season 1 was great (though quite up and down). Season 2 is less so.

TheLogLadyMBE · 31/12/2010 19:39

merlin
downton
the in betweeners
the apprentice
glee
twin peaks (not really this year but repeated this year!)

CybilScissorhands · 31/12/2010 19:41

I avidly watched

The Trip (despite the ill advised scene of Rob Brydon trying it on with that girl)

The Apprentice

Big Brother (someone had to)

OH ! Downtons! nearly forgot

Loved Sherlock too

One born every minute made me cry everytime a baby was born

And endless episodes of Freinds AGAIN...

wintera · 31/12/2010 19:41

Oh right! I was confused for a bit there Pfft!
Sorry to hear about Season 2 not being so good though. Was looking forward to it. Loads of things I like are starting up in Jan. Like Being Human, Glee and True Blood. I was hoping they would maintain the high standard I am expecting.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 31/12/2010 19:51

It's not bad bad. It's just that season one was so good and there are a lot of lacklustre episodes in season 2, I just don't think t's lived up to its promise. Too many themed episodes.

I think True Blood is a blip - it will get back on track, it suffered with some uninteresting story lines. The things that make it good are still there are there have been some brilliant bits.

monkeyslut · 01/01/2011 07:48

True Blood
Modern Family
Misfits

LtEveDallas · 01/01/2011 08:14

The Walking Dead
NCIS series 8
NCIS LA
House
The Mentalist
Flash Forward

monkeyslut · 01/01/2011 08:31

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 01/01/2011 08:36

Misfits (by a mile)
trueblood
inbetweeners

malinkey · 01/01/2011 14:33

Oh yes, Modern Family and Miranda. Both grew on me.

Am recording the repeats of Downton Abbey as so many people have recommended - can't wait to watch it.

upahill · 10/01/2011 13:31

I forgot to mention Flashward! I was so upset when the series ended and they didn't recommision it.

DS1 introduced me to the Middle which I now love.

galletti · 10/01/2011 14:00

Downton Abbey
Mad Men
Brothers & Sisters (or was I watching 2009's series in 2010?)

upahill · 11/01/2011 11:28

Ha HA Flasward.... what did I mean ? Flashforward of course!
