Probably not. I fear we are stuck with him.

Even more people will vote for him after Cheryl sticking the boot in.

I thought that if I offered to send you choc you might refuse (don't ask me why I thought that, no idea) so offered to send your DD some instead. Will get a Swiss care packet together and send you something. Watch your inbox.

Only just catching up....

Mary's miming ability needs to be corrected.

Thought Wagner would stay in after last night.

Hate the way the girls always cry....wusses.

Just shows this year that one dodgy performance can get you this year - Aiden last week and Cher this week ending up in the bottom two.

Agree that Louis had to save Cher - couldn't risk public vote getting rid of Cher.

CommanderDrool · 21/11/2010 21:33

Wow that's a pretty horrible list isn't it.

Oh I say, that rather petite young lady, moniker of Cher, you know, the one with the exuberant maqulllage and a preponderance for gold and mock-velveteen track-suiting?

Yes, jolly good, well, she has a rather pleasant voice, what?

MmeLindt · 21/11/2010 21:34

Lougle
sorry, but I think you have too much time on your hands.

Those were nasty comments, but if you go back and trawl the thread for comments about Wagner (for example) I guarantee that you will find as bad, if not worse.

Oh for goodness sake, go on to last week's thread and stick together all the bile directed at the Weasel. Or a couple of weeks earlier at Bellamy.

This thread has always been a bitch-fest and I very much doubt that any of the previous winners are losing any sleep over it, nor will this years lot.

Lougle · 21/11/2010 21:34

Sorry, SugarPinkMouse, I thought you were speaking for the posters on the thread, when you said

"SugarMousePink Sun 21-Nov-10 21:07:33

Erm Lougle, how exactly are we stripping her apart? She's in a singing competition so don't be surprised when you see people criticise her singing."

I am pointing out to you, that those comments are not about her singing, and are beyond reasonable criticism of a child.

PortBlacksand · 21/11/2010 21:34

Cheryl is getting more and more grumpy as the weeks go on....surely it's only a matter of time before she decks someone.

BitOfFun · 21/11/2010 21:34

Such a relief to get some moral guidance on this thread- it's what we've been missing.

I had the same rant comment yesterday on the thread when i said people could critasize Katies singing all they like but said it was cruel to attack her looks (ears, neck etc.)

Yeah shock horror, people who put them selves in the limelight to be judged are being judged

She is odd looking (IMO) and I dont enjoy her singing and would happily see her off the show. So sue me.

SuePurblybiltByElves · 21/11/2010 21:35

Do you feel shamed Bof? What's the weather like on the naughty step?

Lougle · 21/11/2010 21:36

MmeLindt I felt strongly enough to back up my comments with facts, which is more than the majority on this thread have done.

MmeLindt · 21/11/2010 21:36

And I have to say this.

We are a group of MNetter, most of whom post regularly on the XF threads and who delight in taking the piss out of it all. That is half the fun of watching the show.

The OTT remarks are as much about making each other laugh, imo, as what we really think. I can only speak for myself, but I really don't care who wins the competition. It is not that important to me.

But I enjoy these threads.

I just need to be shown the error of my ways, Sue. It's not too much to ask.

pink4ever · 21/11/2010 21:38

auntiemaggie-quote of the night!!! psml

PortBlacksand · 21/11/2010 21:38

I would never criticise one single part of Katie...

MsSparkle · 21/11/2010 21:38

Cher isn't a child!

SuePurblybiltByElves · 21/11/2010 21:38

Oh bloody hell, I am supposed to be working. And I'm watching Xtra and a full-moon bunfight. It's not good

MmeLindt I normally join you, mainly lurk, sometimes post on the x-factor threads. Tonight goes beyond that IMO. Those comments are vile. Imagine that was your 17 year old. How would you feel reading that about her? Make fun of the show, fine. Make fun of what people do. But don't rip apart who they are.

PortBlacksand · 21/11/2010 21:39

Zain from Wand looks just like my DSs best mate....tis quite disconcerting...
