and also agree with comments about Kara. she is my favourite ( given that Lilya isn't around), she did a beautiful dance, so well executed and elegant, and yet she doesn't get the scores to reflect that.

Is she and Artem an item, what with this talk of it being a romantic weekend??

wonder if ann and anton are still miles ahead in the public vote - they haven't been in the bottom 2 yet have they?

I like Alesha a lot, as a singer and a personality, but she lacks even a basic knowledge of ballroom and Latin.
Yes she has danced most of the dances but she learned routines, not the principal of each dance.

I can only assume she bases her marks, therefore, on performance and effort.

Karen Hardy would have been a much better choice for judge.

Yes as Ann and Anton only got 1 point they must have got at least 5 points from the public to not be in the bottom two as I think Felicity had 4 points so must have got 1 point from the public vote. There was only 8 points at the top of the leader board.

I don't think Ann should win, but am glad she's still there as she's the only reason I watch, having no real interest in ballroom dancing (although I never watch it at the right time to vote, plus am too mean).
This is an entertainment show, if it was a dancing contest they wouldn't have celebrities. I dislike most of the judges anyway.
Felicity was boring, having been brilliant in The Good Life doesn't excuse that.

Just wondering if anyone else's DH/DP doesn't "get" Claudia? Every week without fail DH says "Why can't she make an effort like Tess does?" I know he does it to wind me up, I usually reply that it's because she doesn't need to. I love Claudia - my favourite bit so far this series was when she introduced Alice Cooper as "my style icon"

I've watched it for a few weeks and am not sure which one Claudia is so she's not made much of an impression on me. I'd only heard of 5 of the "celebrities" though.

2rebecca - Claudia Winkleman is the presenter with the dark hair on Sunday nights. She also does the weekday show on BBC2 and is the new anchor of Film 2010 She's not one of the competing slebs... which, if you've ever seen her bits with Len attempting to teach her to do steps, you'd understand Love her tho

Claudia is fabulous but my mum said that she looks "dowdy" compared with Tess every week. I think she looks classy while Tess looks brassy. She is top choice for guest at my fantasy celebrity dinner pary

Claudia is fab - she always looks fantastic (well apart from that bloody fringe!)

Everything about Tess is dull - the clothes, hari, presenting style. Even the 'nudge nudge wink wink' stuff she does with the couples is dull because she does it every year.

I'm surprised at her on Film 2010 - I loved JR, he really knew his stuff and I thought she might be a lightweight in comparison, but she has been really good.

I fast forward the presentor stuff usually (can't stand Brucie). They just looked like the usual glam girlie sidekicks to me. I don't watch film 2010 though so hadn't seen either of them on anything else.

So pleased that Felicity and her hideous gurning have gone. I think it will be Patsy next week.

Pamela has been quite dull for the last few weeks, and doesn't seem to have improved much, unlike Gavin. Admittedly, he still has a long, long way to go but I like to see the slebs develop.

Kara is my favourite. She is a joy to watch. Matt and Scott are both a bit 'meh', and I think they've both been let down by their choreography at times.

Can't bear Ann and have to watch from behind a cushion.

Claudia is brilliantly funny, but DH doesn't get her at all I have to tape ITT and watch it when he's not around.

Claudia is super clever, have you heard her culture show on radio 2 on a friday eve? She manages to combine the quirky sense of humour and slightly scatty style with real insight and intelligence

For the record, my dh lurves Claudia He absolutely gets her, which is why I have no problem being in charge of the remote on Sunday evening. (he has even been known to join me watching ITT)

I do think that the good dancers (Kara, Scott, Matt & Pamela) have now got to rely on good choreography to show how good they really are, otherwise you can't see an improvement, iyswim? Whereas with the likes of Patsy & Gavin, you can see a definite improvement, and I look forward to seeing their dance. (And if Gav would just let his hair down, I think he could be brilliant)

Big Bird Ann was just horrific. She needs to go.

Sadly this week I thought Matt was really cocky. Did anyone see him on Friday's ITT showing off his hip movement? CRINGE! He was my fave but now I want Kara to win, she's sooo good - shame the judges seem to have a snooze during her dances
