We've filled up one thread, let's see if we can get through another before the end of the series!

Ooh, ipredicttrouble, good plan!

My faves are Alesha's cha cha, Tom and Camilla's showdance, and the male professional paso doble from the Halloween weekend .

I've only been watching for a couple of years, but two that really stick out for me are Tom & Camilla's showdance and Chris & Ola's Charleston.

It's so hard to just pick a few but I would go for (I think!):

Alesha's cha cha cha
Matt & Flavia's Salsa
Jill & Darren's jive

Not necessarily in that order

If we bring the professional dances into it I could go on forever! But I particularly remember a jive which they did to Rebel Yell by Billy Idol. Amazing!!

Fave dances are Zoe Ball and Ian's tango, Mark Ramprakash and Karen's Argentine tango and Cherie Lunghi and James' Rumba - don't really like James but he does do a good rumba!!

I keep remembering more but going to wait and see what others put

I want to add Rachel Stevens and Vincent's Argentine tango and rumba. I remember her for those dances.

Lots of good ones, but I'd add Colin and Erin's rumba and quickstep, and Alesha's foxtrot, where Matt (I think) forgot the routine completely half way through and just mouthed "follow me" to her. Perhaps because of that it was just a magical dance, pure dancing together rather than sticking to a routine. Craig was audibly choked at the end.

belgo completely agree about those 2 dances from Rachel & Vincent - fantastic!

Also, Karen & Mark spring to mind - salsa & argentine tango!

Rachel and Vincent's Rumba
Matt and Alesha's Cha Cha Cha

Mark and karen's salsa and Argentine tango. Actually the second one was better.

I loved zoe and Ian though it was way back when bot sure which dance stood out.

What about favourite ever couple. I think mine might be zoe and Ian though I used to really dislike her.

BTW, is it just me or have the dances become a bit ordinary? Alesha's cha cha made me want to get up and dance, Vincent and Rachel's rumba sent shivers up my spine. This year's dances haven't moved me in the same way yet.

Celia - Pamela's and James's waltz didn't move me at all. All overacting from Pamela. I don't know how they got four tens.

I did have shivers when Scott danced,Venetian waltz for Halloween. Apart from that and possibly kara's tango.

Favourite couple Mark and Karen, i just loved the way she encouraged him to open up.
Second most favourite couple Alesha and Matt,
she was absolutely stunning.

Zoe & Ian's Tango

What about favourite professional dance? My personal favourite would have to be Joanna Leunis & Michael Malitowskit's from a few years ago. You can see why they were World Champions!

They also did a performance which was great but not as good as the Cha Cha Cha, in my opinion

I remember talking to my teacher about Joanna Leunis after I saw her and I remember her saying that Michael is nowhere near as good as her - she makes him look good. Meow!

Yes louise lytton does get over-looked, that was a good jive.

Think my fave couple would have to be Matt & Alesha, I think he's a fabulous dancer and she was so impressive that year.

I adored Matt & Alesha, they had chemistry from the very first dance... I am sure they had the tricky rumba as their first dance and really connected from the start!

I keep remembering all these couples I loved (Zoe & Ian, Colin & Erin, Natasha & Brendon, Gethin & Camilla, Matt & Flavia... oooh, I could go on - quite liked Matt & Carol Smilie, Fiona & Anton, she was hysterical!

Mark and Karen's Argentine Tango - still sends shivers down my spine.

I did love Kara's Tango on Saturday (possibly because I love Moulin Rouge).

Zoe's Samba was fab!

my favourite dances:

mark ramprakash's "hot hot hot" (samba?)
chris and ola's charleston (there have been better this year but this was the first so I still love it)
Tom & Camilla's showdance

and of course john sargent dragging the lovely christina across the floor like a sack of spuds in the paso - Widdy take note - THAT is how to do comedy!

BTW I like claudia's new game on Take 2, anyone remember this? still Tom Hank's best film
