Not crying but could....

EccentricaGallumBATS · 11/10/2010 20:28

no - it's all a bit shit.

looks like it is all over and done with in 20 minutes - surely the paramedics/police would take a bit longer? even if the timeline is slightly squewed to fit in a 30 minute episode.

also Billy looked remarkably well considering he'd been dead 12 hours.

QuickLookBusy · 11/10/2010 20:28

I had to switch it over-too sad.

Why did he die?

MadameCastafiore · 11/10/2010 20:29

Oh my god - what did he die of?

ScaryFucker · 11/10/2010 20:29

no

I have been to a real funeral today...I bawled at that

< get a life emoticon >

ThighsWideShut · 11/10/2010 20:32

Sorry to hear that, scaryfucker. Sorry if I offended.

OP posts:
ScaryFucker · 11/10/2010 20:33

you didn't offend me

but bawling at EastEnders is daft

the programme is shit Smile

tefal · 11/10/2010 20:34

He died of alcohol posioning. They are trying to highlight the dangers of binge drinking.

I thought it was exceptionally well done. Lindsay is a great actress and Pasty certainly knows how to do the crying thing.

Excellent.

LynetteScavo · 11/10/2010 20:36

Brilliant acting. Where has carol been all these years?

And where will they hold the wake with the Vic shut? Can the whole of the square fit into Pats front room?

ScaryFucker · 11/10/2010 20:37

the whole square resides in Pat's 17 bedroom house already...

tefal · 11/10/2010 20:37

Why watch then Scary? Why respond to a thread about something you don't like?

HowAnnoying · 11/10/2010 20:38

I cried my eyes out. It was very well done, and not the normal dramatic death that soaps do. I think it was so emotional because it really could happen to anyone who goes out and drinks way to much.

5inthebed · 11/10/2010 20:39

I thought it was a well acted out episode, but didn't cry.

I thought Lauren was a bit cocky.

ScaryFucker · 11/10/2010 20:40

tefal...have you never expressed an alternative opinion then ?

you only reply if you 100% fully agree ?

'cos that would be well, kinda boring

Just made me realise how I sometimes take DS for granted. Putting him to bed tonight, closing the door and shouting "Just go to bloody sleep, I've got more important things to worry about other than you", then seeing EE made me realise what a shit mum I can often be.

Tootlesmummy · 11/10/2010 20:42

I cried, and have only just stopped blubbing.

ilovesprouts · 11/10/2010 20:44

i have missed it to night

ScaryFucker · 11/10/2010 20:47

Lady, thanks

OP, I apologise for playing my "RL funeral trump card". It was a bit shit of me.

But I reserve my right to call you daft for enjoying EE Wink

FranSanDisco · 11/10/2010 20:49

Oh I blubbed.

ThighsWideShut · 11/10/2010 20:53

And I reserve my right to watch it whilst waiting for bloody ds to go to bloody sleep so I can go and do my bloody coursework! Wink

ScaryFucker · 11/10/2010 21:01

oi , I thought that stoopid programme had made you re-evaluate all your dealings with ds

that didn't last long !! Wink

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 11/10/2010 21:04

The bit where Bianca had to tell her mum he was dead was very well done..then it was all downhill IMO.

raindroprhyme · 11/10/2010 21:26

amazing in my opinion the walk across the square was spot on great acting and photography.
Waiting for billy to die has been the main purpose of carols life since he joined up.
How shocking for it happen under her nose. nwill destroy her.

chubbasmum · 11/10/2010 21:34
