My 16yr old DD wants to watch the new minions movie, however I've never seen any of the minions movies and worried it is too inappropriate based on some pictures I've seen shared around social medias. I've included some pictures in case anyone is unsure what I'm referencing. Do I let her go???

Sounds like what I've previously alluded to is correct. You've kept her on such a tight leash (having to check children's films before she can watch?) that as soon as she's able, she's rebelled and started smoking weed.
