My 16yr old DD wants to watch the new minions movie, however I've never seen any of the minions movies and worried it is too inappropriate based on some pictures I've seen shared around social medias. I've included some pictures in case anyone is unsure what I'm referencing. Do I let her go???

They are now sockpuppeting on a thread about harry potter being the work of the devil.

MargoChanning, another case of being that sad that you stalk randomers on mumsnet, you must be really fun at parties

Now being against Harry Potter really is blasphemy. Fuck weed.minions,24 yo bfs and all that!
Do not pick on Harry Potter!

VikingVolva · 09/07/2017 15:32

It's like watching people who (by their actions) must know the internet exists, but they didn't really believe it.

Ankleswingers · 09/07/2017 15:32

Haven't read through the thread but are you
For real??
16?? I let my five and two year olds watch it!!

MargoChanning · 09/07/2017 15:33

I am actually. All my friends come round mine, we open a bottle of chilled white wine and we have a great time binge watching Minions and Harry Potter Grin

RebelRogue · 09/07/2017 15:34

Oooh @MargoChanning can I come?

Farahilda · 09/07/2017 15:35

The other thread about this film was whether a poster should let their 3yr old watch it. And the concerns were about whether they wouldn't be able to sit adequately still for long enough.

Whether it is suitable as a birthday treat for a 16 year old came as a bit of a surprise. How can a teen not know this is a film for young children? It does suggest they are rather cut off from television, radio, internet and have missed hundreds of magazine articles and billboard adverisements, plus all the merchandising.

Ankleswingers, I would read through the thread I've already been exposed by some CIA level 'hackers'. Thanks for the input though fam means a lot

Can you bring a box set of In The Night Garden? I hear it's a bit racy.

If your daughter finds the reactions on here hilarious, goodness only knows what she made of your original post.

Hi Folks,
Thanks for all of your reports regarding this thread.
We have taken a good look and can say there is nothing behind the scenes that suggests there is any sock puppeting going on.
However, we would ask that everyone try to be respectful and considerate when posting. We will remove posts that are trollhunting, goading, or personal attacks. If you have any concerns regarding a poster please keep it off the boards and report anything you'd like us to look at.
