MmeLindt · 05/05/2010 17:47

God, the amount of hits they are getting from MN through this thread, you would think they would send their CEO.

Or at least the junior from the post dept.

traceybath · 05/05/2010 17:51

Selfridges or HN for a super-quick personal shopping session?

Very disappointed in NAP.

OliviaMumsnet · 05/05/2010 18:24

Update as want to be fair to NAP - this from an email to them: -
"we work with shop stock only we are unable to lend pieces out for people to wear at events"

Fair enough, innit -I'd be annoyed to get a dress that someone had worn to an envelope opening or summat, wouldn't you?

traceybath · 05/05/2010 18:28

Oh yes that is fair enough - they should give discount though to all mn'ers

MmeLindt · 05/05/2010 20:06

Weeeelllllll. Ok.

But. What does the dress cost? About £250? It would cost them more than that to advertise on MN, would it not.

Jonnie would have sent it. In fact he would have hand delivered it. Carried the garment bag in his teeth.

Sweeedes · 05/05/2010 20:20

Justine should be wearing Mary Portas styleeee shirt with long collar tabs and gutsy cuffs in silk - together with amazing trews and high, purple shoes.

Every woman on the telly on election night will be wearing edgy-lefty in sexless- shapeless-does-Grecian frock. Except for Christine Hamilton and Edwina Currie who will be dressing as for a bad taste party, 1987.

Mumsnet has a new doll!

traceybath · 05/05/2010 20:48

I suspect NAP wouldn't consider mn'ers their target market and they don't really advertise do they?

Sweeedes · 05/05/2010 20:55

I've just looked at Bonsoir's choices and I approve. Applaud in fact. That Marni dress is spot on perfect. And that Chloe blouse is gorgeous.

Those Grecian-meets-Guardianista dresses are actually horrible. Red or hyacinth purple eww - who looks nice in those colours?
