Do you have to be uber smart? Personally I would go for skinny jeans, a funky t-shirt and a jacket with fuck off heels.

Crap - will need to watch in the kitchen. There is no way DH will consent to ITV Election Coverage - Channel 4, maybe but BBC is his News Channel of Choice.
