but, like su, most of us want her in a fab frock with beautiful accessories, simple and chic.

personally i'd want to know what the set's going to look like before i commit. i mean, you don't want to be sat on a green sofa in a red dress do you?

I want her to get the right combination of clever/elegant/independent minded. And I think she needs to veer well clear of sexy/party to do that. So not too much cling/fit, and no Christmas tree dangles!

Mmmmm Issa with a statement necklace and some uber stonking nude shoes but quite unfussy.

altho it is blue which might betray a preference.

Beautiful dress and shoes (I used to have some gorgeous Louboutin shoes in that same shade) but don't you think they might look a bit dull on TV? The finer details get lost on TV just as much as too much pattern/decoration gets dazzling.

I like both blouses, but possibly coming across as quite frumpy a la TB's governess thang unless worn with funky jeans/trews, perhaps not in keeping with the occasion.

Been into Cos today and they have some very similar draped dresses for less (not quite same quality as Marni but v.good).

Marni shoes gorgeous and I get what Bonsoir is saying about less being more. I like this game, it's like paper dolls. I might be less keen If I were the subject!
