Ordered and awaiting arrival.

I'm such a 90s throwback but I loved mine and wore them til they died.

oops, sorry, www.schuh.co.uk/womens/palladium

SoupDragon · 20/04/2010 15:43

LOL - I wore them too

APassionateWoman · 20/04/2010 15:43

Oh I loved Palladiums, too. Don't know if I would go for them now, though. Very clunky looking.

DrSpechemin · 20/04/2010 15:45

Gosh - they've brought back some memories. Completely forgot about them.

fartmeistergeneral · 20/04/2010 15:46

Oh no don't say that! Perhaps I should add them to my list in the 'is 41 too old to....' thread!!!!

Themasterandmargaritas · 20/04/2010 15:48

I've still got an original pair on the go. I wear them often here.

CiderIUpAndSetIFree · 20/04/2010 15:54

Ooh they do look familiar, I'm sure I had some too. They still look like a nice practical comfy trainer, am tempted...

ClickNegg · 20/04/2010 15:55

YUK
you wore those?
why?

BelleDameSansMerci · 20/04/2010 15:57

Yeuch!

fartmeistergeneral · 20/04/2010 15:58

Yes, they were my fav shoe ever. Wore them sockless with forest green leggings and a baggy tshirt.

Leggings are a no-no now obviously.

fartmeistergeneral · 20/04/2010 15:59

Didn't realise they would cause such a negative reaction! Is it the sole? Or the rubbery toe? Didn't think they were particularly outrageous, kind of like an alternative to converse.

OP posts:
TheProvincialLady · 20/04/2010 15:59

Eugh, they look awful, sorry!

MayorNaze · 20/04/2010 16:00

they look like reinforced plimsolls.

but i expect veryone will be wearing them soon...sigh...

ClickNegg · 20/04/2010 16:00

they are just vile
i have never seen these in my life

fartmeistergeneral · 20/04/2010 16:01

Lol, I still love them.

There are lots of canvas laceups around though, not that outrageous!!!

OP posts:
Themasterandmargaritas · 20/04/2010 16:02

mine are beige not black. Everyone comments when I wear them, they look better on. But black looks a bit too 'school pump' like.

MayorNaze · 20/04/2010 16:02

i remember them...you need to wear them with a waistcoat. and one of those ghastly body things with poppers in your fanjo.
nd a floral skirty thing...

cyb · 20/04/2010 16:02

I used to wear those when I was about 17. They stink after about 2 wears

IndigoSky · 20/04/2010 16:03

They are horrid.

I bet they smell rubbery.

Really ugly.

Sorry!

mrspear · 20/04/2010 16:03

OOOOOOOOOOO I remember those - mine had a very chunky heal! My mine said they would break my legs! (think thin legs vs heavy shoes)

AvadaKedavra · 20/04/2010 16:03

I remember those, had some black shoe style and beige netting (hmm) boots. I didn't know they had a name though - they were worn with long strappy dresses with a tshirt underneath

fartmeistergeneral · 20/04/2010 16:06

OMG that was me - long floral dress, tshirt underneath.

And vile popper thing - they are back, but I can't imagine anything worse.

MayorNaze · 20/04/2010 16:06

AvadaKedavra · 20/04/2010 16:07

Very Buffy don't you think ;)

Shaz10 · 20/04/2010 16:08

I have a high heel version of those! I like the boot.
