Oooh I had a beige pair too. I talked my mum into buying me them for my school trip to Holland.

But my size wasn't in stock so i got the smaller size and they hurt so bad at first, then i got used to it!

Looking back I was a split personality teenager. Other weekends they were worn with stripey tights black mini gothy top and a bikers jacket. reeking of patchouli as opposed to Liquid gold. hmmm

I thought I was the dogs knackers when I got a pair of those, and could get away with wearing them for school I think mine were fake copies from Shoe Zone of whatever the equivalent was 16 years ago (16 years...? Oh my god)

Coupled with a Body Shop canvas bag thing for my books as a school bag.... And a puffer jacket I thought I was IT

Oooh, I was searching for these a while ago but couldn't find them anywhere! So glad they have been brought back. I had a black suede pair of boots and beige shoes when I was at Uni. I'm going to get some, feeling very nostalgic now.
My DH was a bit scathing when I showed him though.

oh my god ! i am 15 again !! i loved loved loved them, had a navy pair and a dark maroon pair. they were from red or dead in manchester, they were THE BEST

My friend at school used to lend me tapes of John Peel shows.
