radley bags cool or uncool?

i find myself liking one or two of the bags this year (primrose hill and grosvenor) neither of which have the dog hanging of them. But i am wondering if i'm just getting old? as i always thought they were bags for rather prim and proper older women who thought they were being 'funky' (type who shop in per una ) or have they genuinley improved?
i'm 34 on tuesday, mum of 4 aged 12-8 months, am i turning into my mother? i'm normally a marc jacobs, mulberry, mimi etc type of handbag lover.

I have just had a look at the ones you mentioned , both okish to me but they have annoying little tags hanging off them which I don't like
I detest the ones with the dogs hanging off them.

I love Radley. I have loads of their stuff. Not so much the highly decorative ones that, in my opinion, date. But about four of the black, two brown, four small ones, purses, wallets and mirrors etc.

I always think that the dog tag bags are worn by the type of women who wear naff unbranded stonewash ill fitting bootcut jeans, slightly too short over black mid heel ankle boots.

ie, they are naff.

But, if there's a bag you like then go for it. I saw a Radley bag recently that I loved, no doggy on it. I might ask for it for my birthday! I'll just be sure not to team it with any Per Una or dodgy stonewash bootcuttage.

I actually like them but my mum does have one of those quite stylish over the body numbers(and she's pushing 70), so for that reason, I would say not cool. But who cares? get one if you like them.
I have a Boden satchel this season! i am officially exempt from cool, it's a good, liberating feeling.

They are THE most revolting bags ever. They're the sort of naff nasty bags that frumpy women with no taste or style buy and think they have 'done well' to get and they are the sort of bag the sort or person that uses them would think was expensive.

I only ever see chavs using them (but they don't realise they are chavs)

Would I want a bag with a dog on it? Nope.

hahhaha your OP made me smile as I have a friend who has a number of Radley bags and also buys all her stuff (well not really but YKWIM) in per una!

She is very very chic and stylish tho, knows what suits her and what not and always looks lovely.

So I don't care if Radley bags are cool or not, she always has a smart (usually dinky small) bag with her and looks great.

My pal is not grannified at all btw in fact she is deffo the right side of 40, maybe even the right side of 35 (unlike me )
