What footwear for skinny jeans/jeggings in the spring?

What should I wear with my new super skinny jeans?

Any other ideas? Will plain ballerinas look ok?

Nooooooooooo they're vile Plain flats or if you wear them above your ankle converse with no socks.

Also why no socks? With anything, it seems? I HATE bare feet in pumps etc - sweaty, rubby and sore, bleee

DD1 tried some canvas pump things with wedge heels today, in Next of all places. They looked nice with her skinny jeans and she had little pop sock things on with them, so no sweaty feet.

Those silver spaceman boot things in the OP are vile.

I've been trying on different footwear options with my skinnies and concluded that flats look fine but not terribly flattering.

But wedge heeled sandals look fab - leg lengthening too.

I love french sole ballerinas to wear with my skinny jeans.

I've ordered some fly london wedges (3 pairs but will only keep 1). Will still want something flat and a bit more sandally for later in the spring/summer.

I think flats with skinnies look awful unless there is some sort of cropped aspect to the trousers

bootcuts have their place, but folk disregard skinny style out of hand. They look more modern, imo. I'm wearing wide legged jazz pants and a dressing gown FWIW
