What footwear for skinny jeans/jeggings in the spring?

What should I wear with my new super skinny jeans?

Any other ideas? Will plain ballerinas look ok?

5'10", size 16 around the rear, small feet. I have an idea that dh will be brutally honest anyway...

they looked amazingly good in the changing room with bare feet! and tbh not all THAT skinny. but a big step for me and my bootcut ways

As I said before, I think sandals and flipflops look better than ballet flats, somehow, on a grown woman. (But not if it's raining or below zero...)

ladidadi the Fly wedges are all lovely! But I am unnaturally obsessed with the sock issue - will you wear them just on bare feet? And if so how on earth do you avoid sore/smelly/cold feet?!! (please note I am not suggesting you have smelly feet! Just that I would if my toes were cooped up all day with no socks)

Surely though we are skipping a footwear season - not warm enough yet to ditch the boots and go straight to flip flops and wedges???

I go straight from boots to flip flops

or chunkier sandals if necessary

the only inbetween things I have are ballet pumps and I can't walk the distances I need to in them

cyb I think that leather inners are the way to avoid sweaty foot issues

When exactly do we think it would be ok to wheel out the gladiator sandals?

Will be updating them though this year to some cage sandals.

Hey I'm being accused on here of backtracking AND having sweaty feet, both of which I refute!

Got my shoes today, liked the second and third pair but all were far too big. Not sure that a whole size smaller won't be too small though.

Did they look ok with skinnies despite being too big?

these are the best fly sandles. too high for me though. can only wear flats in the day due to walking a lot and being 5ft 9"

have ordered some skinnies and some bootcuts, will take back which ever make me look stupid. possibly all of them i hope they come tomorrow.
