dorothea not being a slattern like dexter I wash mine every so often - once every couple of months perhaps? - have quite a few pairs one way and another so it probably works out as after about a week's wear.

I'm not sure whether that sounds like too much or too little now!

I wash my cashmere cardis (actually all my handwashing!) in a net lingerie bag on the handwash setting in my machine - can't see why you couldn't do wristwarmers and gloves the same way. I generally lose one of mine though before I get a chance to!

Our machine is so crap, it hasn't got a handwash setting, so I just have to do it in the basin (meaning we have lots of hand washing that rarely gets a look in). But wristwarmers are little so they're easier than a jumper or something.

Not that I have any money left at all, but ... how long does it generally take before "further reductions" kick in?
