attention 80's teenagers....need lipstick name!

Pals and I were just discussing what the name of this lipstick is from the 80's.

It was pale mauvy bluey pink, frosted and made your teeth look yellow, but everybody had it.

Anybody know what the name was?

was it Rimmell or 17 or Constance Carroll?

I'd forgotten all about Copper Knockers - I loved that one. Still got a bit of a thing for coppery ones now.

Used to have an icy blue one that I thought made me look very original . It didn't, I just looked like a knob.

Rimmel still do Heather Shimmer but it's not the same, it's much darker.

All my friends wore heather shimmer but not I. I was waaaay too goth for that, no my choice was Black Cherries. Except I had to tone it down at school so - get this - I used to apply a layer of concealer to my lips first (wtf ) and then put on black cherries. Looked a funny pinky colour but boy did it have staying power! I completed the 'death' look by applying lots of talcumn powder to my face. Jesus.

Can't believe this was the first thread I see, after yesterday telling my daughter about Heather Shimmer. Strange thing is I know there was another colour in the same range that also ended in shimmer, any ideas people.

It wasn't heather shimmer , they still make that and it isn't frosted pink.

OK so this an ancient thread but I'm convinced the lipstick was Pinking Shear.

I preferred iron maiden to iron lady.

Thread's nearly as old as heather shimmer.

Does noone remember Iced Magenta?!

Was it Miners? Can't remember the shade but I had it in a pot and it was very sticky and mauvey pink. I felt the bees knees in that with some electric blue mascara and eye pencil...

Pinking shear by Boots 17 which had maroon packaging was defo pale pink with blue tinge.

Pinking Shear had a beige flattened oval shape packaging when I had it. Then an old friend who had moved away came to visit and said that Bon Bon (a rather nice pinky brown) was all the rage in her new school down south, so I bought it and started a new trend in my oop north school .

It was twilight teaser. There was a nail varnish it her with same name or itch moon in it. It was pearlised mauve and glittery whitey.

Cherries in the snow is one of Revlons oldest best sellers but I think they stopped making it a few years ago.

They still make it Buster. It's still one of their best sellers.

I remember an amethyst shimmer too. Equally as vile but still popular

It isn't Heather Shimmer, I still like that colour and it isn't the colour in the OP, think that one may have been Constance Carrol.

Do they Enid, apparently it's a dupe for Mac Girl about town. Maybe my neck of the woods discontinued it as I recall looking high and low about 3 years ago and gave up!!! I'll have to reinvestigate it!
