attention 80's teenagers....need lipstick name!

Pals and I were just discussing what the name of this lipstick is from the 80's.

It was pale mauvy bluey pink, frosted and made your teeth look yellow, but everybody had it.

Anybody know what the name was?

was it Rimmell or 17 or Constance Carroll?

I loved Iron Lady from Miss S. I wore it (and another Miss S one whose name I can't remember!) all the time.

I had a lovely dressing gown with lipstick prints. I loved it.

at the dressing gown - I always wanted one of those.

There was also coffee shimmer and black cherries - both from Rimmel I think. Perhaps it was one of these.

And I used one from Sainsbury's years ago that matched the description but I forget what it was called now. It was in their "J" range.

miss selfridge iron lady was my fave it was soooo dry though and if I wore it now I'd look like a corpse!

I had the Miss S short dressing gown too and thought I looked the business in it!

I've remembered the other Miss S one that I used to wear - copper knockers!

It was bronze-golden and, like Iron Lady, was very, very dry!

I've been trying to remember the name of it all day. I'm so happy now that I've remembered.

I used to wear rimmel 'Birthday Suit' (90's teen) and I used to wear tinted lip balm in middle school before any of the girls wore lippy (I still was never cool though

I had one called Pink Elelphant- think it was either Max Factor or Revlon- nice browny pink with a bit of pearl- wore it to my wedding in 1984.

I looked like acomplete dick in the 80s.

We all used to wear black cherries but this was early 90's not 80's. We also used to get those ones that were bright green/yellow/white but when you put them on they were a shade of pink. Nice!

Oh yes, Iron Lady! Another affictionado for that here. And I remember thinking that Copper Knockers was the most beautiful colour ever. But then I went through a long phase of wearing copper coloured eyeliner on my eyes and on my lips. There was a light silver one - Cyber something? I used to love that, but got so many unimpressed looks by people when I wore it.

Just remembered the one I had - Shiny Conker think it was called - a nice browney one - wonder if they still have it.

i had copper knockers, it didn't suit me at all.

also had miss s pink pig blusher, that was nice on me but probably not on anyone else.

i had a marvellous leichner silver eyeshadow stick, wish i'd kept it.

i had a rimmel one called Grape Shimmer. gaud almighty....why did i wear it?? it was a vile shade of frosted lavender and couldnt make your teeth look any yellower if you tried!

oh no it was Grape Sorbet....not shimmer. though i had heather shimmer too!
