Laurent Perrier Rose?!

CHOOGIRL · 02/10/2009 21:47

or this

cookielove · 02/10/2009 21:51

this is pink and delicious

Amandoh · 02/10/2009 22:33

Similar colour to the Toast dress in the other thread.

And another in a similar shade. I think this would look good with a black polo neck underneath.

This one would look best with a long black polo neck over the top.

tulpe · 02/10/2009 22:49

Amandoh - I love the Development dress you linked to. Absolutely gorgeous

choogirl, you are bad .... Bob, you are worse!!!! That shawl is heaven and is now in my shopping basket ... do I dare press 'proceed to checkout'?? Really, really want to...

luka - are you after something decadent and pink too??

will go and have a glass of rose and ponder ....

I love pink, it's so flattering and gives my v pale complexion a rosy glow in winter!

Here's something pretty yummy in pink. Any suggestions as to how I can justify it's purchase? It would make me very, very, very happy

BobtheWoodmouse · 04/10/2009 17:50

LTEC

You need to to be quick with that shawl -it's on the wanted list for many. I know people have been waiting for that design/colourway since the summer, I nearly bought it myself and I don't 'do' pink.

The Kelly en Caleche shawls rarely appear on the website so if you are tempted - do grab one quick, they won't hang around for long.

oh god, I am going to have to sleep on it... if I do, it would the most expensive thing I have ever bought ...

I love pink ... but am dark haired and dark skinned, so it really does flatter all types doesn't it!

Verity - I think we've talked about this coat before. Remember, you can pay for it in the lattes you won't be drinking to warm up, you'll be toasty enough!! do it! life's too short and winter's too cold to not have it.

Now, if someone could please come up with similar justification for the Hermes shawl please.....

CHOOGIRL · 04/10/2009 21:14

OK - Justification coming up.... You are worth it - call it a gift to yourself for having baby Leon.
Hermes will last FOREVER. I love mine got it 2 years ago and would wear it everyday if I could.
It is a work of art - you could frame it and just look at it.. A £700 painting isn't that bad?
Early xmas present?
You don't smoke so what you save on cigarettes makes up for it?
You are worth it!!

Just don't read the AIBU thread about £100 cardigans

tulpe · 04/10/2009 21:16

Surely the same justification applies to the Hermes shawl, non LTEC?

Think of how much warmer your neck and shoulders will be with that beauty caressing you

VerityBrulee · 04/10/2009 21:20

You're right LTEC, I have been dithering about that jacket for ages!

So, how useful is this scarf going to be? I got a mailing from Hermes a couple of weeks ago with a booket on hundreds of different ways to wear a scarf, so you could wear it in a different way twice a week for a year!

Would you be gutted if you log in tomorrow and found someone else has bought the last one?

Good to sleep on it, Overspend in haste, repent at leisure as my Granny used to say, well something like that!

LetThemEatCake · 04/10/2009 21:25

I just showed it to my mum and although she blanched at the price (remember this is the woman who took advantage of my post-natal haze to encourage me to buy a discounted Sainsbo's skirt - which has now gone back) even she admitted it was divine

choogirl - I am headed straight to AIBU!!!

OP posts:
monkeysmama · 04/10/2009 21:38

Are you breast feeding LTEC? Every bfing woman deserves something divine to wrap themselves & bubba in.

LetThemEatCake · 04/10/2009 21:44

I am indeed breastfeeding ... me & bubba currently swathed in a cashmere wrap

any luck with the leather skirt yet?

I went in to the place in Greenwich on Friday and they had quite a few lovely ones. I wanted to try 4 on but dd had a meltdown. Am returning on Tuesday when dp's parents are here to look after dd. Will let you know! Thanks for the suggestion.

bramblebooks · 04/10/2009 22:01

you lot are awful. I have two hermes scarves and love them, but now I want this:

uk.hermes.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10201&catalogId=10051&langId=-11&cate goryId=11111&leftCategoryId=11107&topCategoryId=130037&parentCategoryId=130038&productId=42465&nbIte m=0

LetThemEatCake · 05/10/2009 09:17

go on bramble, i will if you will

have any of you seen the liberty/ hermes collaboration?

what do you think to it?

OP posts:
dexter73 · 05/10/2009 09:33

They are lovely scarves. How do you wear them?

tulpe · 05/10/2009 10:13

Not loving the liberty/hermes collaboration at all, tbh.

I do, however, love the pink one you are lusting after. Have you bought it yet?

bramblebooks · 05/10/2009 12:47

Have you bought it?

I am on an economy drive having lingered rather too long on white stuff's website!

I have a thing for silk twill, so will probably put this one on the Christmas list!
