Well..... they are FAB!

If i tighten the buckle as far as it will go they are the perfect skin tight fit on my legs. Skinnies go underneath fine. I have never actually owned a pair of boots that fitted me properly on the calves (usually have loose wellie top effect).

I am going to remain hopeful however as I did order the 7s that mysterioulsy came back into stock a couple of times.

(I'm going to end up forking out £125 for the boots I didn't know I needed aren't I )

still no sign of a van here either. have to pick ds up at 2pm, then go back for dd at 3.30pm. it's bound to turn up when i'm out isn't it! will stick a note on the door asking them to leave the parcel. if they don't, it's not far to their depo, but i have no car today, dh has it.

Mine have not arrived and I leave in minutes. Sniff sniff wibble.

Lucy - put a note on your door asking them to deliver to your neighbours. You can't usually pick up from depot till next day as van's contents on return won't be sorted for collection till close of play today.

Mine are on the van, but not shown up yet.

How do you know they are on the van? I rushed home this morning, I really don't like waiting for things! I hope they don't come when I go to pick up the dc, it takes ages between picking ds up, and dd coming out of school, and then walking home - an hour and a half!

..that is if they come at all, sigh.

neighbours are all out, everyone usually relies on me to be the one to accept deliveries because i work from home! going to stick a note up anyway.

They are fab, perfect fit and I can fit big thick socks and skinnies on with them too!

Mine are here! They are lovely and fit fine, (although no chance of me getting jeans underneath..!)

They are slightly different from the black ones I got for £100. 'Rugged' leather apparently means ever so slightly less shiny, and the lining is a different colour as well.

I am guessing these are an old version they are trying to clear out quickly, so the price is deliberate.

Glad most have received them and are enjoying! Your observations are interesting flowery. The lining inside mine is a blue and black swirl pattern and the patterned lining stops mid way up the boot. The 'black' ones at full price on office website seem (from picture)to have orange and black swirl lining and it goes to the very top of boot. Ours probably are last years. But what the hell, who knows what the lining looks like when you have the boot on?

Yes that's right, the other pair have orange and black lining to the top, and are a bit shinier.

But as you say, who cares if they are last year's, not that anyone could tell anyway!

I think I prefer the blue lining with leather in the top anyway tbh.

my note now says, please leave the parcel (if possible), have signed and dated it in case they need evidence of a signature (our street is quiet and quite secure to leave parcels outside, down the side of our porch is out of sight), then have also listed 3 neighbours houses they can try who i think are in.

brokenspacebar - the track and trace bit linked to on the despatch email should say where your parcel is.

Hopefully lucykate, still frazzled and fransan will have theirs soon too.

Glad you prefer the bargain ones flowery! It makes you gutted though doesn't it to think of the amount of mark up we pay on everything......

Mine just arrived. I think they must be old stok as the boots were quite dusty. Still, they are lovely and even though they're a size bigger than I usually wear, it's nothing a good thick pair of socks (or two) can't solve...

Unless there's someone out there with a size 6 who wants to swap for a 7?
