they have ribbons and they are crossed but i only do up the holes over my feet, not the ones that go around the ankle.

Am thinking of buying some black/black shoes for work because they're so bloody comfy and I think my grey ones probably look a bit odd with a suit (am I channelling David Tennent or just looking like I can't be trusted to dress myself?) and I also quite fancy the dark grey colour.
