have been looking at sdome for this summer in a hope to stop my feet smelling like a cheese counter. but are they as uncomfortable as i remember as a kid? can anyone recommend some? even just some plain ones, or some good funky looking ones.

(i dont care if its out of style btw, i need some!!)

expatinscotland · 15/05/2005 21:21

No. And I always worry about someone stepping on them.

bubblerock · 15/05/2005 21:24

lots of sandals/flip flops on here really cheap so you could get a few pairs - I love this site

AussieSim · 17/05/2005 04:12

Papillon · 17/05/2005 06:55

would not be without my jandals (as kiwis like to call them) comfortable and easy - I grew up in them and gumboots

vickiyumyum · 17/05/2005 18:53

bubblerock, great link off to buy several pairs now!

bubblerock · 17/05/2005 19:12

It's a good site Vicky - I've bought loads from them and my Dad bought a badminton racket that had £80 off so he was well chuffed. They send brochures through quite regularly.

vickiyumyum · 17/05/2005 19:33

vickiyumyum · 17/05/2005 19:33

champs · 17/05/2005 21:38

btw lou, where on earth did you get your 35p flipflops from??

fifilala · 18/05/2005 16:18

I'll stick with the birkenstocks, last years will do just fine, make feet ache at first but that is because they are putting your foot into the correct position (apparantly!)

lou33 · 18/05/2005 18:23

thailand

someonefamousneveryoumind · 18/05/2005 18:26

I loved my Thai flipflops - so classic and parted with them after much wear most regretfully

champs · 18/05/2005 18:42

ooo thailand, warm, beaches, yummy food.... humph.

marthamoo · 18/05/2005 18:45

I can't do toe posts. Bought some gorgeous Per Una non-toe-post flip flops last year: scarlet criss cross ribbons with tiny flowers sewn on, with a flowery inner-sole. I wish I had bought ten pairs - I love them and they are nearly worn out I have them on now with pink Argyle knee high socks. Now that's a fashion statement.

champs · 18/05/2005 18:55

at socks. your flip flops sound lovely hopefully they'll do them this year.

champs · 18/05/2005 18:57

are these them????

marthamoo · 18/05/2005 18:57

If they do, champs, I will buy 10 pairs!

tamum · 18/05/2005 18:58

Ooh, they're really pretty!

marthamoo · 18/05/2005 18:59

Those are the pink ones (they had those last summer too) - mine are red. Oooh thanks - maybe they'll do the red ones again this year too.

champs · 18/05/2005 19:02

red ones would be really nice with the roses.
love pink and have jotted down number so i can get them delivered to store.

marthamoo · 18/05/2005 19:02

They are aren't they, tamum? I may have to get a pink pair.

champs · 18/05/2005 19:09

tamum -- arent they!! hope my swollen feet will do them justice
