Birkenstock Madrids - what colour are you wearing this year?

I need a new pair and always buy the brownish khaki ones but thinking about having some silver ones this year, what are you all having?

I have just bought some silver ones and a broze pair of gizzah.

But I also have - pale pink, white, black, flowery and red. I love them. They last forever and wear really well.

I get a pair a year normally .

I do tend to live in them in the summer

Patent pink. Never had them before but cheap in TK Maxx.

Are the silver nice then? I've only looked at them on ebay-there's a shop selling them for £26 and free delivery. I do like the pink as well though.

i have got white,black, silver, red patent and pink (in my defence my friend works for them and gets discount) i don't know what i did before birkenstocks!

I bought a purple patent pair and a red patent pair of Madrids this year. The purple are my favourite.

I also have some flowery arizona's and some with 3 small straps which are lovely too. they are a couple of years old but still going strong.

Red patent for me this year.

I have lime green . I am a new convert.

Same as last year for me - a blue floral pair and a pink floral pair. Considering silver though as that tends to go with more stuff.

The silver are nice and blends really well. I would love a green patent pair, but can not justify the spend, as I need specs too

silver madrids here - will live in them all summer (already have the tell-tale stripe across my foot to show for it!)

Have trusty pair of black madrids but am lusting after silver or possibly red or purple patent ones. I also have white ibizas and lilac arizonas.

I have purple patent and pale blue Madrids. I live in the purple at the mo.

Also got a green, suede type effect 2 bar pair (not sure what proper name for them is!) I heart these also.

Am lusting after the red patent this year - fab with jeans.

black patent here although wore my silver ones out and would like another pair. Would also like purple patent

If anyone has a costco near to them they are in there for £20,in patent black,purple,lime & red.They also have plain pink,black & silver too.

Can you get anything more frumpy though? I don't get these shoes at all.

Well, I suspect FM you are on the wrong thread, as you are probably not wearing a pair this year.
Just because you don't like them, doesn't mean the whole world shares your opinions

Pink and white for me. And also dark pink or khaki Gizehs too. Love summer - don't have to think about footwear!

Oh, this thread is wanting me to buy some more. This year is the first year in ages that I haven't bought any. I'm loving the sound of the hot pink ones .......

I've just this minute got my first pair -- gold. I wish I'd gone for red, tbh. The gold is a bit beigey.

I'm disappointed so far! My feet look like fat, splayed-out lumps and I don't even think they're that comfy! Will they get better? Do they need to be worn-in a bit?

I got them as every Mum at the school wears them so I thought I must be missing something not to own any. But so far I'm a bit . Maybe my feet are the problem - I'm a size 7. Do they look better on teeny-tiny doll's-sized feet?

They get comfier.

They look best with long trousers/jeans and hot nail varnish .
