I'm wondering who my MN style twins are.

Emo/dark nails and hair. Bit hippy-ish sometimes. I like Animal/FatFace for the summer. Flat shoes all the way - Like Converse, or my zebra print Dr Martins. Love charity shops, Topshop, Jane Norman (their size 8 is perfect fit for me and I've never experienced that before, usually to small round thighs but to big round waist and to long . Bit rock chic I guess. Don't follow fashion. Just wear it if I like it.

ThePellyandMe · 02/04/2009 14:33

In my head I am smart casual with a slightly quirky edge, in reality I look a hodge podgey mess

Gorionine · 02/04/2009 14:35

lacking!

nickytwotimes · 02/04/2009 14:37

Non-existent.
It used to be smart when I was a gel, but I have little interest in my appearance atm. Other than my hair.

notagrannyyet · 02/04/2009 14:48

Fairly functional mostly.

But still don the glad rags occasionally, and can scrub up well for a posh do.

Hair is a bit of a problem......always was.
Too much grey to pull out now.

noddyholder · 02/04/2009 14:57

Kate Moss with a zimmer frame

becstarlitsea · 02/04/2009 14:57

My style is 'predictable but definitely my own'. I have three uniforms:-

thigh length jersey dress over jeans and trainers

or single breasted jacket, printed fitted tshirt and jeans and trainers

or if it's really hot - patterned summer skirt, plain tshirt and flat shoes

not very imaginative but works for me and stops me having to think too hard in the morning. Today is a dress and jeans day

OrmIrian · 02/04/2009 14:59

Accidental.. or perhaps spontaneous (sounds better).

BellaNoir · 02/04/2009 22:10

Gothic Kirsty Allsop

janeite · 02/04/2009 22:15

Ahh I think Kirsty Allsopp is who I meant when I said Kirsty Walker. One of them is the property one, non? That is the one I meant.

BellaNoir · 02/04/2009 22:20

Janeite - I thought so from your description! Twin??

ravenAK · 02/04/2009 22:26

Goth.

Black smartish for work. Black velvet, jeans, anything purple for scruffs. Too much silver & jet jewellery. Big boots.

That's because we are all sad introverts with a overdeveloped sense of self-drama. Probably

MuffinToptheMule · 03/04/2009 13:59

Shit. Navy blue. Bag

BikeRunSki · 03/04/2009 20:48

Machine Washable

janeite · 03/04/2009 20:50

Bella Noir - thanks for putting me right! Promises to start wearing all the pretty things I have, instead of just sticking jeans on.

Lemontart · 03/04/2009 20:55

My fashion sense is ruled by the following 2 guidelines"

a) nothing inside out if you can help it (hard one to stick to if you knicker drawer is as muddled as mine and you dress in the dark with a DH working nights)

b) joggers in the house, jeans out of the house. Simple.

Walking cliché since having DD2 (7mo) - jeans tucked in ugh ugg boots, plain tops with chunky cardigans, starbucks takeaway latte wedged in hand while pushing a red bugaboo. Everywhere I look I see my fellow clones and I despise what I have become!

So currently coming out the other side and trying to find 'me' again. Aiming for slightly quirky chic, lots of dresses and a change of footwear. Spending lots of time on the style and beauty boards seeking inspiration.
