I love that kaftan, too high necked for me, some good sale bargains on anna scholz at the moment

swedishmum · 16/02/2009 23:47

Can we please get real? All of those Caryn Franklin dresses are SHITE! She's not plus size so in no way understands what to wear despite being a "fashionista". In fact, all of the new Simply Be catalogue is vile shite unflattering stuff.
Look at Wallis and John Rocha at Debenhams. Or wait for my capsule collection. DO NOT FEEL YOU HAVE TO WEAR THIS POLYESTER SHITE FROM HELL. Tes I'm a 22 too (but shrinking) and wouldn't wear it if Iwas paid.

twinsetandpearls · 17/02/2009 00:27

I have a Caryn Franklin dress that I wear for work and dont think I look shite in it actually. The anna scholz bits from simply be tend to be nice as well.

John Rocha is a bit porridge and oatmeal for me but viva la difference. I buy a lot of betty jackson from Debenhams. Have on summer dress from Wallis but a lot of it is too old for me.

swedishmum · 17/02/2009 01:55

Chacun a son gout et tout cela. I find anything by Simply Be too polyester and grannyish. Fitted is great but it has to look right. I really don't believe that Caryn Franklin understands me at 5'10'' - look at all her shoes for this season. We all know that ankle straps and wider ankles are a big no-no. I need to lose weight and am doing it, but the new Simply Be catalogue is the most polyester yet.

twinsetandpearls · 17/02/2009 02:05

Have not looked at the new catalogue and have never bought any of their own stuff, I tend to buy the Anna Scolz stuff and Joe Browns. The Caryn Franklin shoes are shocking I bought one pair and sent them back.

I suspect I am a very different shape to you as am only five foot two.

twinsetandpearls · 17/02/2009 02:07

Sorry cat jumped on keyboard, agree that we all have our own taste and thank God for that.

www.themagicknickershop.co.uk/ necessity under any sexy dress, as well as a well fitted bra

swedishmum · 17/02/2009 09:23

TSAP, my posts yesterday sound like I was ranting at you. Many many apologies - was ranting at the quality of clothes on offer. Also thought I was on a post about dressing for work. I don't wear cardigans to weddings
Yet again I prove to myself that MN and red wine (however low carb it is) don't mix

twinsetandpearls · 17/02/2009 10:48

lol swedishmum I didnt take it as a rant at me, hope your head does not hurt.

loflo · 17/02/2009 14:36
