Dress is not me twinset, but then I may not find one that is. I did see this

What do you think?
Can you wear black to a wedding?

I love the teal and brown top twinset, would it flatter even a big belly?

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 18:59

quite a classic dress you could wear again and again

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 18:59

quite a classic dress you could wear again and again

People do wear black to weddings, I wouldnt but am a complete colour demon. You would need big bold accessories to lift it.

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:01

possibly a bit glitzy and I suspect not you but a good ebay buy again from anna scholz

SweetCheeksLovesSweetTalk · 16/02/2009 19:02

I could do big bold accerssories, do you think it would be a flattering dress?

I am very worried I am going to end looking 9 months pregnant

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:03

anna scholz again and more toned down colours

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:05

would look good over trousers and has some black in it

I dont think you will look pregnant if you dress carefully. Do you have a good waist? I am only slightly smaller than you and think that I generally look like quite fab especially when dressing for an occasion.

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:06

I wear lots of dresses in that style for work and noone has ever said I look pregnant.

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:08

I bought someone this dress or one very similar for Christmas, she has a pink cardigan she wears with it and is planning to wear it for a wedding

SweetCheeksLovesSweetTalk · 16/02/2009 19:09

Really like the purple toned down dress you linked to - I would wear boots with it like she is, do you like that look, is ok for a wedding?

I like the green one as well, esp. as I could wear trousers - which one do you prefer?

My waist is ok, its not bad, its just my wibbly wobbly jelly belly!

I bought my mum this suit with a skirt , she is a very youthful mum before you take it as an insult. She is your size and looks lovely in it.

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:13

I am a dress girl so prefer the dress, get good underwear.

I ahve the dress version of this top and often get compliments on it, even from mumsnetters no less when I have met up with them, again could be worn with trousers. In fact I have some trinny and susannah trousers in navy from littlewoods that would look fab with the top.

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:14

I really like the toned down dress and have listed the seller as a favourite for me.

SweetCheeksLovesSweetTalk · 16/02/2009 19:14

That looks quie clingly twinset.

Whats your honest opinion aboutthis dress

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:18

Do you need shoes, I always wear fabulous shoes , people go from my glossy hair, to rather sexy eyes, to glorious cleavage and then to my fabulous shoes. They miss the wobbly tummy.

SweetCheeksLovesSweetTalk · 16/02/2009 19:21

I need shoes - I have no shoes that would be at all suitable!

I need everything in fact, shoes, underwear, accessories .. I am a poor excuse of a woman!

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:22

I dont think there is much wrong with clingy if it clings in the right place and you ahve good underwear on. I look much better in things with shape than things that hang,

If you are short like me that monsoon dress is a no no.

dizzydixies · 16/02/2009 19:23

have you got a New Look, they've a larger size section and you can sometimes get some lovely things in there - can be a bit hit and miss though

I wore top and trousers to my cousins wedding last May and it was post do - was 7months pregnant as well as being overweight but it was fine, jus smartened it all up with the hair do bag etc

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2009 19:23

Lots of anna scholz shoes on ebay.
