Reality how come you always drag these things into the gutter

mamalovesmojitos · 09/01/2009 13:54

boobs or breasts. can't stand the words tits or panties. just typing them makes me shudder.

oneplusone · 09/01/2009 13:57

What do people think of "bong bongs!" My DD picked this up from my MIL and in our house it seems to have stuck!

CharleeinChains · 09/01/2009 13:58

Boobies here.

I can't stand titties but use tits in the form of 'your getting on my tits' and 'as usefull as tits on a bull.' but that is all.

BIL calls them funbags or Bristols (as in Bristol City = Titty)

Norks is a fab word!

Dp says Boobage alot as in 'luv get some boobage on the go'. also

CharleeinChains · 09/01/2009 14:00

Panties is also [boak]

Its knickers or pants! Panties is so gross 60's porno.

CharleeinChains · 09/01/2009 14:03

We used to have all the boys at school calling them Babylons

I was known as Babylon Betty for all my secondary school life. Also TisalinaBumSquash. (which i would quite like as my MN name but then nobody would know who i was!)

Paperchase · 09/01/2009 14:05

Notreallycutoutforthis - if your panties are making your toes curl, you're probably putting them on wrong.

I have a firm and well scaffolded bust, meself.

snowleopard · 09/01/2009 14:32

Ooh bong bongs has a ring to it. Can imagine Gok using that.

PaddingtonBore · 09/01/2009 14:39

hmm. don't like "boobies", but think "boobs" is the most child-friendly term. I find "breasts" a bit matronly.

"tits" is most used in this house as a mild swear.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 09/01/2009 14:44

For years ds1 called them heeuuuge nipples (so imagine sitting on the bus with small boy pointing at a large woman, exclaiming loudly "Look mummy! That lady has heeeeuuuuge nipples!". I reminded him of this the other day - never new a 10 year old could blush so beautifully

nappyaddict · 09/01/2009 14:48

What about baps or wabs?

NorbertDentressangle · 09/01/2009 14:50

I've just remembered what DD used to call them -I think she'd misheard the term boobies being used so called them baubles which I thought was quite nice in a spangly, sparkly sort of way

beansontoast · 09/01/2009 14:51

like 'bong dongs'

kittywise · 09/01/2009 14:52

boobie or boobs in our house.
Although saying that I amvery flat chested. It's only 'cause I got a bf toddler that they get called anything! Otherwise i think they would go completely unnoticed!

MrsGrouchoMarxMerryHenry · 09/01/2009 14:54

We've taught DS (age 2) to say 'boobies', 'willy' and 'minnie' for our naughty body bits. What's wrong with that?

Between me and DH, however, it's bazoongers all the way!

(actually, they're more like pittas than bazoongers but there you are)

cupofteaplease · 09/01/2009 14:56

When I was speaking to the old and wirey anaesthetist before my elective C section, he told me that I would be 'numbed up to my titties.'

I was actually a little sick in my mouth...

I think the 'T word' is highly inappropriate outside of the bedroom. [prudish emoticon]

WilfSell · 09/01/2009 15:02

My DS has taken to pointing at mine and saying 'Ghlog ghlog'.

Which given he is still BF, I'd like to think of as a bit onomatopoeic.

MrsGrouchoMarxMerryHenry · 09/01/2009 15:04

What a clever DS, Wilf!

I hate the word 'dugs'. It really gets on my tits.

(not up to my usual standard, I know )

nickschick · 09/01/2009 20:03

cup of tea ive always had very eye pleasing anaesthatists......ive actually (in a drug hazed stupor offered to marry 1- he came to see me later to say i cheered him up for the day!!!)-in the caesrian section i stayed awake for we debated the rights and wrongs of genetic engineering and those lovely siamese twins(2000) and the surgeon said hed had more sense out of me than his students .......i didnt offer marriage to him tho, even tho he did put my alice band on being silly and danced to sex on the beach to me me laugh.

nickschick · 09/01/2009 20:04

come to think of it i had such darn fun during that c section

kettlechip · 09/01/2009 20:48

norks or waps here. Never ever ever titties. That is a vile word.

NormaJeanBaker · 09/01/2009 20:57

sacred orbs of Venus. Or is that just my kids?

p1umpudding · 09/01/2009 22:13

in adult conversation i say breasts, otherwise, with kiddies, it's boobies.
