Tits, or breasts. DS always had titfeeds...

NomDePlume · 09/01/2009 10:31

Tittyfunbagsobjectsofmaledesireandfemaleopression is what we call them

Tidgypuds · 09/01/2009 10:32

I can stand the term 'Breasts' makes me squirm.
Find 'titties' a little obscene.
'Boobies' all the way in this house

Boobs here.

beansmum · 09/01/2009 10:33

Do people really call them titties? Really? ew. I say breasts, but ds is convinced they are just big nipples.

I don't like belly either, we say puku.

HoorayHenry · 09/01/2009 10:39

TITFEEDS

YUK. I once knew a really "ra" guy who would say " oh dw can't come to the phone ds is "on the tit" "

TMI.

'on the tit' is utterly repulsive.

boobies in our house, although I'm liking breasticles (and will probably pinch it.)

Tidgypuds - What is objectionable about the word "breast". That is the correct term for them!

Surely sickly pseudonyms are worse?

MrsMattie · 09/01/2009 10:49

i love the word 'tits'. I will never abandon it! I do use breasts most of the time but occasionally only 'tits' will do

wenceslasmyeducation · 09/01/2009 10:53

Hmm, breast is quite culinary though.
We say boobs, unless we're being rude, then it might be tits, or big titties.
My least favourite is baps. Although we have decided that referring to them as ciabatta is quite amusing.

tearinghairout · 09/01/2009 10:53

'bosoms' is a rather more sedate term

'tits' no way

Tidgypuds · 09/01/2009 10:54

Unavailable - I dont mind the term 'breast' when associated with breastfeeding or when I am at the GP's.
But when using it with my DC it just seems to be impersonal and formal.
My DC know exactly what the correct term for boobies are but we are a fun household and thats the way it is.
My Mother was always so straight faced about such things and not very open with us and when she spoke of breasts it was always said in a way in which implied she really shouldnt be speaking about such things, so I guess maybe thats why I prefer Boobies or boobs.

Its funny now though we are all grown up my mum has started saying it, but can tell it still makes her feel uncomfortable.

MrsMattie · 09/01/2009 10:54

'Bosoms' reminds me of 'women of a certain age'. It's a bit Hyacinth Bucket.

snowleopard · 09/01/2009 10:55

Boobs and boobies I can deal with. "Titties" aaaarrrrgggghhh just horrible!

I do however say tits and "tit ends!" as a swearword. But for general reference, norks covers it all.

girlandboy · 09/01/2009 10:56

I'm afraid you'll have to call me Hyacinth then!

Because

I

have

Bosoms

snowleopard · 09/01/2009 10:56

"Bosoms" rofl. But I sometimes refer to enormous ones as "bazoomas"
