hmm interesting, will have a look next time I am in Farnham, wonder why ALL stock is cheap on the website tho.

Just looked at the Peacocks one, but they only have size 6-8. Sadly, I am not that skinny

Ordered a Boden knitted dress a few months ago, but had to send it back as it was a really odd shape and made me look pregnant. Shame, as the plum colour was gorgeous.

OMG I want (and need) that first ghost dress. Will pester DH tonight for it as a christmas pressie. AND I will wear it to my toddler group with high boots and totter after ds1 and ds2!

I think Ghost has recently been rescued from administration, someone else has bought them out. Supposed to be a re-launch early 2009, which could explain all the cheap-ish stuff.

In the name of mumsnet I went into Ghost today to try some stuff on. I am a size 16 with a post pregnancy belly, 5'9 and 34E and I would say the large was just a tad too big for me. The size 16 dresses fitted fine for fitted dresses but the waterfall dress I posted was too big in the chest area. The other thing is all the dresses came to my knees so if you are shorter then they may swamp you a bit.
They have been bought by someone else and have new stock arriving the second week of december and thus have to clear all old stock.

Now - I'm tempted by Gershwin dress. I would get it in chocolate brown because I already have a couple of black wool dresses. Question is - could I wear it with black tights/shoes/boots or would I need to buy brown ones ??

I was worried it might be a bit short but if they tend to be long it could be OK? I'm a size 8-10 with small boobs - was thinking would go for the 10.

Yes, thanks a lot - I'm not sure what I was doing wrong. What do you think of it?

I think it's lovely, the shape is great- very much the shape of the moment, bit like the french connection dresses I'm coveting.

I could only wear it as a 'going out' dress though as it's a bit too fancy for daytime.
