Was planning on wearing this with a teal cardigan from Monsoon which has jewelly buttons. Need uber-bright shoes, tights, bag, fascinator, jewellery ideas to go with it.

It's an all day affair with no chance to change for the evening so need to (in the words of Carrie) merchandise it up so it's suitable for day and evening.

Wedding end of November.

Hmmmm I think I'd do a mustard type colour with it.

Will see what I can find to show what I mean.

Snaf · 01/10/2008 15:04

Mustardy, deffo. I have some lovely big bangles in a gold/mustard colour that would look great with that dress (not that that helps you much!)

Just a thought though - does the teal cardy go exactly, because otherwise it could look a bit strange, iyswim? If the colour is not an exact match...

Scarletibis · 01/10/2008 15:04

oh - I see

Lauriefairycake · 01/10/2008 15:45

Back to the drawing board then.

Thomcat · 01/10/2008 16:09

Very upset with you that you are refusing to mustard as it really is perfect with teal and now I'm struggling but, how about this as a colour?

Thomcat · 01/10/2008 16:11

or plain cream? But you want colur to clash more don't you.

Thomcat · 01/10/2008 16:15

Thomcat · 01/10/2008 16:18

Monty100 · 01/10/2008 16:24

I think silver/metallic is nice with teal.

But I'm newish here so probably not much authority.............. yet!

Thomcat · 01/10/2008 16:35

Mmmmm silver would be ok but not really a clashing colour with teal Here's some silver

Lauriefairycake · 01/10/2008 17:31

I like the red

do you you think red shoes/red bag/coral red and silver jewellery ?

but what about tights? if wearing a teal dress and red shoes, what colour the thick tights?

OP posts:
harpomarx · 01/10/2008 17:36

MUSTARD!!!!!

just call it yellow if it makes you feel better

ps you are lucky that teal suits you, I tried a teal something on the other day and think I have officially found my most unflattering colour. Even worse on me than acid yellow or tangerine, and they look bad...

Lauriefairycake · 01/10/2008 17:39

I have no idea harpo if teal suits me

was planning to coordinate with a bit of teal eyeshadow. Have brown/blonde highlights, very pale creamy skin and hazel eyes - WILL it suit me ??????
