Anne Fontein (dodgy spelling but yelling kids) is the queen of shits oas longs as you avoid the ruffles (vom).

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:31

i regularly decide i like one, buy it, then hate it on everytime i wear it.
i think there may be a small gulf between what i imagine i look like and what i actually look like

DrNortherner · 29/09/2008 16:32

Oh the shame Cod. we are being merged with a HUGE company. I am going all corporate.....

'king hell. A bit too bright for the office.

I remember the discussion at the lift where I was waiting with a colleague.

Friend comes up and says to me (in a green shirt) 'Ooh, that's a nice Pink shirt'

Me 'yes it is, thank you'

Colleague 'eh? - but it's green!'

We were easily amused in that place.

castille · 29/09/2008 16:34

I'm wearing a white one today - a rare thing

Looks smart with a 3/4 sleeve grey, scoop-neck cashmere jumper, school uniform style (but without the tie)

EffiePerine · 29/09/2008 16:34

well at least they're plain

and they will fit OK and not pull across shoulders or norks

The print has green and maroon + shapes on a pale green and white background. God it sounds really weird but it looks really nice and sleeves are long as I have monkey arms!

georgiemum · 29/09/2008 16:35

Yes - I love a nice crisp white shirt... with a dribble of baby sick down the back!

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 16:36

im not gonna buy anything silkie again tho. last time i did that was for the meeetup last yr and i thought i looked sophisticated.
pics came out and i just looked like a cross between a packet of silk cut and a slimey bolero dancing waiter.
not such a good look afterall.

EffiePerine · 29/09/2008 16:44

shiny not generally a good idea
