Today I have on my black knee high sock boots.

Next Long Brown Sticth Workmans boots for jeans and chunky stuff.

Boden knee high black leather for other things and when I don't have browny neutral colours on.

but with shorts?

I wouldn't wera boots with shorts.

I bought a pair of MNG ones from a charity shop today, for a fiver.

I guess they look a bit like the ones pictured top right in the catwalk queen item that onceinalifetime linked to - but brown tweedy herringboney fabric

I like the idea of winter shorts, I could cycle to school in them and wear them with tights and boots - oh they are appealing to my practical side I like the cheapest pair in your link.

I can't get away with summer shorts, let alone winter ones.

i am currently wearing a grey chunky knit cowl neck mini dress with thick dark grey tights and a pair of black cardy uggs

i have black biker boots, as well as some brown higher chunky heeled boots and a pair black stiletto ones, but tend to keep short skirts with flats

which reminds me i am on the look out for some grey knee/thigh length flat boots, has anyone seen some which are affordable for the v poor , and look half decent?

They are nice, not as 'short' as the name implies. But not at £126. I'd wear them with flats for fear of looking overdone

yeah, they're not dissimilar to the ones I bought. Wouldn't wear with the shoes they suggest though. I'm thinking maybe chunky knee-high boots.

this winter i'm wearing my old faithfuls: my Justin vintage ropers from 1989, my caramel-coloured leather DM boots, my black Faith boots, my newly resoled Clarks black boots and Aersoles chocolate coloured leather boots and, IF SANTA IS AROUND, some dark brown leather boots from Bronx.
