what shoes/ boots are you lot wearing your winter shorts and tights with?

I don't think I have ever seen anyone wearing shorts in winter other than in a magazine. I imagine the boots would be similar to ones yo'd wear with short skirts though, no?

Ooh i'd like some city shorts! But I don't think they'll beat the miniskirt...

this looks quite good Maybe ballet flats are the way forward . Don't do much to elongate and slim the leg though ....

i am off out v soon to get winter shorts and a plethora of coloured/ribbed/thick tights. yay.
and i might need more boots too, really. be rude not to.

i got a bunch of legwarmers off ebay last year for the pumps/legwarmers combo... only wore once tho. they were rubbish quality tbh...

i have new 'Cardi' uggs. i got them coz i really liked the look of them but i could cry coz they are nowhere near as snug and comforting as real uggs.

Tweed shorts + ribbed cashmere tights = one extremely sweaty foof + high probability of yeast infection. Niiiiiice.

well, I have tried my new £5 shorts on with tights and a variety of shoes (flats, boots, heels)

Plus a variety of tops - sweaters, sweater vests, ruffled blouse, cardi

And you know what?? They look pretty good! Shame I don't have better legs, but the tights hide a multitude of sins ... god, can't imagine getting my bare pins out, yikes.

i have seen two girlish types today wearing black knee length shorts with small jackets and flat black shoes. in the city (i was on the bus).

i am planning a winter of much short skirt. have gap biker boots, flat brown mid calf and knee length navy with a 5cm heel.

tights...?

right, seeing as i have a bunch of fairly like-style-minded peeps together in one place here... help me choose between these rigger boots as i have a yearning for some. they wont be my only boots, but i WANT some, and have done for some time. prob to wear with leggings and short dresses.

They're not really my style (I don't even own a pair of uggs [shock emoticon] but my brother wears Makitas for work so that's my vote!
