WHY WHY WHY are shoes for little girls so VILE?

Have been looking for shoes for dd2 (aged 2). Everything pink and shiny or embellished with twee hearts/ribbons. Also preponderance of suede/nubuck to ensure they'll be trashed after five minutes. Why? Do people actually like this stuff?

My teens make up their own minds. I don't own them!!

Have always found little girls' shoes to be gorgeous

Go to an independent shoe shop. You pay through the nose but get a good variety of Continental stuff (Italian and Scandinavian the best imo)

In a moment of madness I agreed to dd having pink boots with a purple fluffy trim last winter and I winced every day she wore them. They were really horrible but she loved them.

lelli kelly shoes are devine. Sure you lot who dislike them aren't against the price tag..? .

what amazes me is that she can actually find shoes for her older kids that aren't school shos or trainers!

i have been EVERYWHERE trying to get a pair of casual out of school shoes for ds1 who is a 5 1/2 but all that is available is black pc plums or trainers.thats it.

i would have a pair of lelli kelis if they did them in a 9

I have allowed dd to choose her clothes within reason as long as I cam remeber. She is not allowed heels, nasty black nylon clothes, logos on her bottom and anything else goes.

We went through the pink phase, and as hula said if you can't do that at 6 when can you.

We are now going through a rock goth phase, this week she spent her birthday money on a pair of lace fingerless gloves ( think Madonna early eighties) and yet another skull scarf.

I went to order some lelli kellys last week for me...that was till dh said " I would be so embarassed" . Like how different are they to shoes/trainers such as sketchers......

Im only a 4 so can just fit into them.!

Lelli Kelly shoes go up to size 5 in some styles. I am only a 3 so could if I was brave enough, lol

dd (2) got a gorgeous pair of cowboy boots from NEXT last week, she adores them. not pink, but brown leather.
